I thought the charge was a little expensive for the work performed. However, not having any other experiences with A/C repair, I don't have anything to base it on. I expected about a third less than he charged. But, I would rather have good dependable service than a shoddily done repair. Talked to them about some future business. "Mechanical Comfort Systems installed a new heating and air system when my upstairs (where all the bedrooms are located) system went out in the heat of the summer on a Thursday (left for work and it was working... got home and it was 90 degrees upstairs). I had another HVAC contractor out before calling Mechanical Comfort Systems and their proposal was significantly more expensive for a lesser system than I received from Mechanical Comfort Systems (the efficiency of the system was an upgrade from existing, and other company quoted replacement with same efficiency as existing). The system was replaced quickly (on a Saturday), and the installers were great, very professional. They cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. During the freeze this February, I had a water pipe freeze and burst. Mechanical Comfort Systems came out the day after, even though driving conditions were still terrible and all my friends in similar situation were being told it'd be several days to a week before a plumber could come unless they paid some ridiculously expensive emergency fee... I recommended Mechanical Comfort Systems to three other people I knew that also had frozen pipes burst, and they all had them come after fix theirs after I gave them Mechanical Comfort Systems information. I strongly recommend Mechanical Comfort Systems to anyone needing any plumbing or HVAC work. I'll definitely use them again... although I hope not anytime soon ?"

"Our thermostat went out, tried replacing it ourselves and then our heating wasnâ t coming on anymore. Gave NexGen a call and they got someone out the next day before the cold front came through. John came and took a look and found and fixed the problem quickly. He checked to make sure everything was wired correctly on our thermostat, and that everything was running smoothly. He also informed us of some cleaning that needed to be done to our system to help it run more efficiently, and offered the service to get it all cleaned up while he was there. All in all, NexGen was quick, informative, friendly and affordable. Highly recommend!"
