"Shortly after submitting my Angie's List request I received an email response from Ryan. We scheduled a date and time for him to come by for a review / interview regarding our carport project. He arrived on time and was here for about 1 hour. Throughout our discussion, he was very thorough and professional while pointing both pro's and con's to the project. I felt I had enough information about the work required, the approximate cost range to completion. Although we decided not to go ahead with the project, I am confident we would have been "Very Satisfied" with Ryan and Johnson Custom Builders."

"'Dave the Deck Dude' as we nick named him is a perfectionist. I had a sketch drawing on a piece of school paper that he took and made a reality. We had a 520' deck built, and an old deck demo'd and removed. Dave and team made it happen in about a week. He took the time to go through all of the material options, and associated costs. We ended up going with a product we didn't even know was an option when we were thinking about the new deck. He is meticulous in both the craftsmanship that his crew puts out, as well as adherence to a timeline. He told us at one point that 'It WILL be done by Friday'.....It was done by Friday. Attention to detail is amazing. We had metal railings installed, and he spotted a piece that he said was scratched and that he would replace it. I never was able to find the defect he spotted, but about a week later when the new piece came in, he was back at our house replacing it. The deck is absolutely beautiful. We couldn't be happier, except that the weather is prohibiting us from enjoying it as much as we would like. Looking forward to next summer!"

Scott was a pleasure to work with from the start...his plans were very professional, and he was very experienced in working with the county on getting the proper permits and approvals. Scott was there every day, rain or shine, and we did have some inclement weather for part of the project. We made a few changes on the project as we went on and Scott was always very responsive to my questions and concern. He was always very polite and had a very positive attitude throughout the deck project. Anybody who needs a beautiful deck done by a true professional cannot go wrong with Scott. "This was the first big project we had pursued since buying a new home, and we had an incredibly difficult time finding a contractor to finish our room.  We talked to 10-15 different contractors, they either blew us off, or gave us bids that were ridiculous for the size of the job that we had.  After an initial walkthrough, Travis came back to us quickly with a quote that was reasonable, and a timeframe that worked great for us.
Travis was enthusiastic about working with us, very friendly, and took the time to make sure he really understood what we were looking for.  He did a great job of communicating what was going on in the process, which was really valuable for us, as this was our first time dealing with a contractor.  I always felt like I could call or email with any questions and get an honest answer.
All his staff was super professional, and I feel like they did a great job of respecting our time and our house.  They also did a great job of communicating what was going on, and making sure we know where things stood at the end of a workday.  The room turned out great, it was done quickly, and Travis actually managed to come in UNDER budget!
We went from having such a negative experience trying to find a contractor to having a great one after finding Travis, I can't recommend him enough.  If we have anything else that needs to get done, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

"Wonderful. Another contractor had botched some of my work and left abruptly. James Ferguson of Class Act Carpentry stepped in and installed my siding, with a vapor barrier, new windows and trim with exceptional workmanship. Everything was level and straight and well placed. He communicated well with me. He worked quickly and efficiently and was on time every day. He kept my home clean of his materials. He did the interior trim(casement around the windows, trim around the windows and floor trim after flooring had been laid. All was caulked very nice and clean. Everything was straight and level. He explained what he was doing. The blinds measurement guy said how wonderful the casement of the windows job was in that every window was absolutely square and level and there were 10 windows. The building of the deck stairs is ongoing at the moment but I am sure I will equally pleased with that work."

"Painting job was good. Prep work very good. (We have a 1942 house with areas where multiple layers of paint were flaking). Premier used a special primer that sealed and smoothed these areas. We had never heard of this type of primer, and the results were good. Hope longevity will be as well. Only issue was communication. We were not told about the primer and got no description of the prep process until late in the game, which was stressful as a good prep job was important to us."
