"They did a great job and were very quick and efficient. They even negotiated a lower price because we didn't need our gutters cleaned, since they were going to be replaced the next week. I will definitely use their service again when I need the exterior of my house washed or windows or roof or driveway cleaned."

"We looked for a contractor on Angie?s list that specialized in concrete work.  We selected 4 contractors for bids.  3 responded.
ATA Contracting?s bid was in the middle at $12,000.
We selected ATA because TV had the experience, knowledge and offered ideas to the project.  We expanded the scope of the project to include retaining walls at the end of the drive way and replace the side walk to the house.  The bid was increased to $15,000.
TV?s crew removed the old driveway and hammered out the sidewalk, dug out the deep roots from two large Doug Fir trees,
re-leveled and re-sloped the drive to improve drainage.  They framed out the new drive and all the walkways.  Over 2 days, they custom built framework for the retaining walls.
TV offered the option of stamping or coloring the concrete.  We preferred an aggregate finish.  After the drive was poured, the crew was there to scrub off the surface for the aggregate finish.
The only problem we had with the overall project was the estimates were done based on our draft design and measurements.
This resulted in not enough concrete being delivered.  TV?s crew had to come back and finish the job?which they did. It would have been better if TV had done the measurements.   That said, TV is very easy to work with.  We discussed the situation and agreed to pay for the additional concrete and his crew came back and sealed the driveway, which was not part of the scope.  Concrete and labor must be paid for.  Our initial project turned into 33 cubic yards of concrete and $17,400.  It was worth every penny, and the additional cost resulted from our expanded vision and plan, which was executed extremely well.
In the end, the driveway is perfect for our property.  Many of our neighbors have expressed ?driveway envy?.  Strangers walking by
have commented on how great it looks.  We had some friends visit last weekend and they could not believe the transformation.   We are happy because we know this will be much more durable and safe.
We appreciate TV and his crew for all their hard work, and recommend him.
 Great job!

"overall they gave me more than enough manpower to weed out one flowerbed for the project allowed. As for getting out the weeds in the best fashion, i was a little disapointed, since they only scrapped the surface of the bed and left behind most of the weeds and roots. They did haul out my cherry tree though.

"I had a fence replacement project involved replacing 110 linear square feet of wire fence with vinyl. Originally I'd hired another contractor who had me buy the material and put down half the cost of labor before even doing any work. After a week and a half of delays with terrible communication and no work done, I fired them and found GeoHousingLLC. Gio came by to survey the land, offered me a much more reasonable quote, promised to begin work immediately, and assured me I didn't have to pay until all work was done. Whenever things came up that required my attention, he kept me informed every step of the way . All in all, they finished within the time frame estimated and the end product looks spectacular. 5 out of 5 would hire again."

"Duga crew showed up on time and had the entire project done in just two days. I could see extra attention to detail in the additional flashing and cleanup efforts. Agron was able to evaluate the airflow/leak issue and provided multiple options to resolve. I also liked that we were quoted with PABCO shingles, which are manufactured in Tacoma, so I can support the local economy. They also seemed more durable than comparable style from Certainteed."

FAQs for exterior surfaces service projects in Seattle, WA

An alternative to sandblasting is laser cleaning. If you're looking for a method that doesn't use abrasive materials and offers cleaner, more precise results, laser cleaning might be the solution. It can remove rust, grease, and paint without affecting the material underneath. Plus, it's more environmentally friendly and poses less risk to worker health since there are no fine particulates to inhale.

Sandblasting can be quite messy. The materials blasted onto the surface collect on the ground, and the process generates a lot of airborne debris. You'll need to clean up after the project, and it's best to move or cover items nearby that you don't want to be damaged by debris.

Sandblasters are exceptionally loud, operating at decibel levels between 115 and 125, louder than a chainsaw. This high noise level makes it essential for everyone in the area to use protective earplugs while the sandblasting is occurring. It's also considerate to let your neighbors know about the noise in advance so they can prepare.

While no federal laws restrict personal sandblasting, your state or local authorities may have specific regulations or permit requirements, so it’s important to check with them before starting the project. If you're hiring a local sandblasting company, check to ensure they hold all the necessary permits or licenses for your area.
