"Excellent experience from start to finish.  Dustin was the initial point person and he was very easy to work with.  The foreman came out in advance of the project to talk us through the details, to answer questions and to be sure he understood the scope of work directly rather than relying on engineering drawings.  The crew was punctual and professional.  They worked well beyond a regular work day in order to complete each stage of the project to meet the deadlines.  The final product was exactly as advertized.  We would highly recommend them to anyone.

"Ballard Enterprises did an amazing job! Prior to the work beginning, the landscape architect came to our house and spent time talking with us about what we wanted and offered ideas and suggestions of his own. He spent time outside in our backyard--in pouring rain--getting a feel for the space, understanding our vision, and taking measurements. The resulting quote and landscape diagram were detail-oriented, which we love. The half-circle end of the patio was our idea, and when we suggested it, he saw the vision for it immediately and incorporated it enthusiastically (i.e., there were zero issues with "your ideas" vs "our ideas"). I cannot say enough about how hard-working, incredibly skilled, and friendly the landscapers/stonemasons who did our work were. The stone wall in particular is a work of art. They were an incredible team. They started early in the mornings and they worked late into the evenings; all in one of the hottest stretches we had that summer. The landscape architect and owner stopped by periodically to perform quality checks. Our backyard--which was formerly a drab, empty space--is now simply beautiful. The work Ballard performed for us included: - installing a large paver patio; - installing a fire pit; - building a brand-new, stone retaining wall; - installing completely new flower beds (outlining, tilling, composting, planting, mulching); - installing underground drainage with three new pop-up drains; - installing a rain barrel; - propping up existing heat/AC units that were tipping over due to soil erosion, and redirecting water flow away from them; - tearing out the old concrete patio. We love our new backyard. It is gorgeous! We continue to use Ballard Enterprises to weed and lay mulch each spring. And we buy all of our annual potted flowers at their nursery."

"From start to finish, this felt like a partnership. SBC - and everyone they sent to do work - was fantastic. The designer listened and had great ideas, the masonry was beautiful, electric and plumbing were solutions oriented and I actually had fun selecting appliances. The final outdoor kitchen far exceeded our expectations and we are already trying to think of our next project with SBC."

"How did it go? It was perfect. Any time QL agrees to a job, it's going to be A+ every time. I have used Mr. Lemus' company, Quality Landscape, on several different landscaping jobs. He was fair, thorough, prompt, courteous and does great work."

"7th state builders redid my kitchen floor and cabinets. The work was done beautifully."

"The East Coast crew did a GREAT JOB on our spring landscape cleanup, including mulching and cutting beds, trimming trees and bushes and clearing debris from the entire yard. They worked hard and left our landscape looking fresh, manicured and ready for the new outdoor season!"

"This team did an excellent job with our outdoor fireplace and kitchen. The work was done quickly and they were great about keeping us up to date on the project. I would absolutely use them again."

"Oscar and his team were fantastic to work with. They provided a timely estimate and worked with in our budget. We were highly impressed with their work, their professionalism, and their punctuality. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a patio."

"James Moylen and his team are skilled and knowledgable and understand well that the customer comes first. I chose Design Builders over two other contractors because James listened more carefully than the others to both our hopes and fears, and specifically addressed each and every one in the design and throughout the construction. He and his workers were courteous, cleaned up the worksite every day, and most importantly, did a top quality job on every aspect of the work. Yes, there were small glitches along the way, but James maintained very close communication with me throughout and took every step possible to keep me a fully informed and satisfied customer. I highly recommend his company and would not hesitate to work with them again."

"He came out at the mutually agreed time.  His workers were very professional.  They removed a lot of grout, removed a lot of the patio, and re-cemented it.  When they were finished, they did an excellent job of cleaning up.
I had a few estimates.  Mark was the low bidder (but not by much).  I hired him because of him being on Angies list.  Very pleased.
