"The guys were very polite and efficient. Did the job and were on their way. A few tears in the drywall after having removed the registers from the walls, but not a big deal. Beyond the air duct cleaning, the owner of Alpine is a true stand-up man, because he advised me a great deal on what might be causing the growth issues that we were seeing in the HVAC system and offered good recommendations (to check the load calculation of the system installed - oversized systems are common culprit - and then to ensure the boots were sealed to the ducts). We got all that taken care of and now a year later, we have growth again on the handler unit. The HVAC company of course is suggesting installing an expensive air purification system, but that only treats the symptoms and does not get at the cause. I called Dave again and he provided great advice again to put a thermal blanket on the handler since it's located in an unconditioned space (which would help to mitigate the root cause of condensation due to cold air in handler mixing with warm air in garage in summer). Very grateful for Dave in helping us understand what could really be going on and how we might solve the problem."

"Original quote was $420 to clean three bedrooms and 31 stairs which I thought was very expensive!  Matt, the guy who came to clean and give me the quote, was super nice and said he could come back if I wanted to talk to my husband and think about it.  I knew I could find someone cheaper, but this company got great reviews on Angie's List and I needed my carpets cleaned sooner rather than later, so I took off a bedroom that wasn't too dirty and lowered the overall price.  With the 10% AL discount, it came to $319.  Still pricey, but I just didn't want to deal with calling around.   <br /> Matt did a nice job cleaning the carpets, but the solution is a bit smelly.  Thank goodness today is warm because I have my windows open and all my ceiling fans running.  I'm hoping they will dry quickly.  Before Matt left I noticed he left a lot of dirty foot prints and drips from the hose on my wooden floors.  I mentioned it to him and he was nice and went out to his truck to get a mop. He came back in and tried to clean the floors, but I had to get on my hands and knees to clean them after he left.  It's not the end of the world, but I was just surprised how many drops and wet spots were left on my wooden floors.  I would think the company would have some sort of a drop cloth to lay down to prevent this.  When a customer pays $319 to have some floors cleaned, they shouldn't be left with others dirty.  Just my two cents. <br /> I will use them again if they bring something to prevent this from happening in the future.  :-) <br />"
