"First contacted Shelf Genie at the Tacoma Home Show and made an appointment for a home consultation. The sales person (Josh) arrived as scheduled and we put together a plan and estimate for our desired products. Have to admit the price does seem high but we didn't get any other estimates (who else offers this kind of product?) It takes 6-8 weeks for the shelf and lazy susan units to be produced. Ours took a little longer because the sales person and the installer assumed that the manufacturer could make a slight change in the turntable product to allow it to fit in our corner cabinets. Turns out they don't make any changes to the offered product. Shelf Genie attempted to contact us for a decision on whether to cancel those products from our order or to change to a product that would fit but we were on vacation so it took a while to get back with them, thus extending the manufacturing time. The installer (Justin) contacted us once the products had arrived and arranged an installation date. He arrived on time and got right to work. The turntable installations were the toughest because our corner cabinets were simply regular cabinets installed at an angle at the corner so we had pie shaped empty spaces on both sides of these cabinets. Justin had to cut out the center shelves and the sides of both corner cabinets. He was able to do all the cutting without creating any noticeable dust in the house. Everything was cleaned up spic-n-span when he was done. Installation took about 6 hrs. Our only disappointment was we didn't gain as much shelf space as we had hoped but the easy access to EVERYTHING more than makes up for it."

Jim was very responsive and always on time with pricing, meetings, and installation. The cabinet products are very high quality and exactly what we expected. "The quality of the work performed by Cascade Kitchens was fantastic.  Everything was done to perfection and precisely on schedule.  Additionally, Cascade went out of their way to make modifications and adjustments as needed as the work progressed.  Dave James has an incredibly vast knowledge of all that goes into a remodel -- including appliance and plumbing hookups, re-wiring electrical components, LED lighting, etc. <br /> <br /> I don't think we could have chosen a more excellent company to do the work.  That is why we asked them to design and remodel the kitchen in our second home. We have had many positive comments from friends and family on the finished product.  I would recommend them highly, over any other company in this area, to anyone who plans to remodel their kitchen or bath. <br /> <br />"

"California Closets was one of 3 companies we had out to my house to bid a job for custom closet and pantry design. While we did not choose to do business with California Closets, it was not by any fault of the company or the representative that came to our house, Hannah. <br /> The bids we received were literally within pennies of each other, so it was not about price. Simply put, we opted to go with the company that we felt was more local so we could support locally-owned business yet still have a reliable warranty on the product/installation. It wasn't until after we contracted with another company and we called Hannah to notify her that we would not go with California Closets, that we learned this branch is locally-owned. That might have made a difference if we understood that upfront. <br /> The designs they provided were great and pricing was on par with other companies. It helped that California Closets is currently running a special that any finish would be the same cost as white, otherwise they would've priced a few hundred dollars higher. <br /> We'd be willing to have California Closets bid for future projects on our home if the opportunity arises. <br />"
