During construction he kept the site clean, consulted with us on all matters, and finished precisely on time. Our job included removing a wall, completely gutting the kitchen and reconstructing--including replacing flooring, cabinets, countertops & appliances, replacing a window, re-routing plumbing, rewiring and installing new lighting, door replacement, and painting. "I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. "The dumpster arrived and the work commenced in a speedy manner. His team was prompt and courteous and very professional. Several change requests were thrown at him and he was able to incorporate them. One being once we had the wood siding off we realized that insulation was a good idea, Mike adjusted our bill and commenced with the changes that we added without grumbling. Once the work was complete the dumpster disappeared and all the neighbors commented that the building had improved immensely! I have used Mike on my rental properties and at my private residence and I have always been impressed by his work ethic , never seeing him stop at a set hour but working through a project to a logically stopping point. There are no smoke breaks because Mike is not a smoker, and there is no cussing because Mike is a Christian man who walks the walk. I highly recommend Mike to any one looking for a major reconstruction or a minor redo."

It was a rather tricky project in that there was no plumbing in the basement and we wanted to install a bathroom, wet-bar etc. </li> <li>We were quite impressed by how much time Joel spent figuring out how the project should be carried out in the most efficient and economic way, even though there was no guarantee we would actually go with them. It was as if he was coming up with a plan for his own home. "When the two gentlemen arrived, they looked over my door and lift system. After their investigation they concluded that something was wrong but they were not sure what the problem was. They replaced my wall control unit with a doorbell button so the door could be opened and closed from the push of that button. I have a Chamberlain liftmaster 8500 due to low ceiling clearance. This unit requires a specific wall control button to fully function with remotes. They left after explaining they would need to order a circuit board and a wall control unit. Furthermore, they didn't know what the problem was so they wanted to replace both components to make sure the problem was with one of those pieces. I took a day off of work so they could tell me what I told them on the phone with my initial request for service. They came out and had no intention of fixing the unit as they had nothing to fix it with. I'm happy I took a day off of work for that. They later called and wanted to charge me $485 to replace a circuit board and wall button. I can buy a circuit board for $95 and a wall button specific to my unit for $40. The circuit board can be replaced with a couple of screws and plugging in the wires. I understand they have expenses and overhead. My problem is with the way the service was handled. I took a day off to have them fix it not to come tell me they need to order parts and come back to figure out what the problem is. I can order parts and replace them to see what the problem is myself without taking two days off from work. One for them to see what type of unit I have ( which I told them explicitly on the phone) and another for them to come back to try different parts. The final bill was $96.80 to connect two wires to a door bell type button that does not allow my remotes to work and is not the unit needed for my door control system. I fixed the door myself without taking more time off of work. I was even called a week later and told I was suppose to pay my bill at the time of service. The men who came to my house told me to not pay anything that day and gave me paperwork showing $0 due. The lady on the phone told me she was sorry for my misunderstanding of when payment was due. I explained that there was no misunderstanding and I would pay the bill in a timely manner from the point I received it. Prepare to have two days available to get work done. One for a consultation and one to fix the problem, even if you tell them what the problem is."

"In November 2014 we hired Brandon to build a fence around the backyard of a home we just purchased. His pricing was in-line with the other 3 estimates we received from other companies. We chose Brandon because his price seemed fair and we anticipated using his company for additional outdoor projects over the next year or so. It was a little difficult to nail down the exact start time due to delays (he had trouble getting the wood from his usual supplier) and as time went on I had to be more persistent in my attempts to contact him before I received a response. At one point I simply asked if he still wanted the job and if not, please let me know. We liked the work he did and as of now the fence is still standing strong (although one of the gates has started to twist and although Brandon told us to contact him if this happened, that isn't so easily done as I will explain). We knew when we had the fence built that it would need to be painted and spoke with Brandon about doing that in the spring, once the winter weather was over. We contacted Brandon in the spring and had him come out to get estimates on painting the new fence and several other outdoor projects. He was quick to respond to come out, but I had to follow up with him many times to get the estimates. We took our time deciding what projects we could afford and Brandon followed up with us. We eventually decided that we would only have him paint the fence due to finances and he agreed stating that he could start the job in two weeks. Two weeks came and went with no word from Brandon. When I contacted him he said he could do the job in the upcoming week and he would call me. Still no word and its been an additional two weeks. I sent him an email earlier this week to ask what was going on and have not received a response. I really hesitated to submit a critical review because we did like Brandon and the fence seems well built. But we won't work with him again because he is simply too inconsistent in his communication and its hard to trust someone who says they will do work for you but then doesn't show up or even bother to respond to calls/emails. <br />"
