We provide our customers with top-quality products - Alcoa/Mastic siding, GAF roofing shingles, Gorell replacement windows and more - installed by professionals who are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations. We also pride ourselves on truly caring about our customers- needs to create tailored solutions that fit within their budgets. So, whether you need replacement windows, vinyl siding, shingle roofing, basement finishing, or cellulose insulation, we've got your remodeling needs covered. From energy-efficient windows to attic insulation, we have energy-saving products to help lower your monthly power bills. We not only offer industry-leading products, but our installers are certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) to provide energy audits for homes and businesses. This means that our credentialed auditors can come to your home or office and perform and audit to determine weak spots in your home's insulation and overall energy efficiency. This analysis better informs you and our installers about the type of green home improvement products you need and how to correctly install them to maximize your potential energy savings.

Exterior view of the in-progress attached garage addition build. As you can see, the necessary siding was removed from the existing home so we could attach the garage build.
Overall view of the newly constructed back deck, which leads to the now covered patio area, via the spiral staircase.
Front view of the log cabin entry room addition highlights the stunning front door with dual sidelights.
Back view shows how much the new build towers above the existing one-story homes in the neighborhood.

"Mr. Heh and his employees were professional, polite, and installed a great looking roof. They worked in cold November weather, that increased the time of completion but they did't sacrifice quality. We were very pleased. <br />"

"I tend to be on the picky side and insist that things be done correctly and safely, and I can not tolerate contactors that are untrustworthy and unreliable. On every project Ostrander Construction has met or exceeded my expectations. I trust them to hold the keys to my house and all the work has been done while we were not there. Any questions or changes that arose while the work was being done were easily handled by phone. The quality of their work is excellent, and the cost of each project has always been fair and reasonable and almost always close to what I expected it to be. On the very rare ocassion that I had a concern about something or other, they always worked until the problem was solved to my satisfaction. Based upon twenty years of experience with Ostrander Construction, it is my experience that you can not find a more honest, more reliable, or a more professionable contractor. I give them the highest rating possible. If I could I would give them twenty times the highest rating, one for each year they have done work for us."

"After speaking with several contractors and receiving estimates from each, I hired Brian to do the work for several reasons. He is local to me, as I see his truck parked in his driveway when I go past his house, his price was competitive with other contractors, and primarily because he gave me the feeling of someone that I could trust to do the job properly. He had the materials delivered from a local building supply store and began work the next day, as previously scheduled. I hired him to expand the overall size of the deck approx. 2 1/2 times its original size. He was personally on-site each day that work was being done, and did the work himself, with the assistance of one other worker. He communicated well with us during the entire process and worked every day until the job was complete. He addressed my concerns and I was completely satisfied with his work. He always left the area clean and free of tools, materials, or debris. I think that his work is top notch and would, in fact have already, recommended him to others, including friends and neighbors.Throught the job, he made me feel as though he was doing the job the way that he would want it done, or would do it, at his own house."

"Stan is a very cheerful and hard worker (10 hr. days) and has a great eye for detail. He is unhappy if just one piece doesn't line up just right. In the beginning our old house (1712) needed floors to be repaired. Upon finding much rot and underlaying problems Stan corrected everything and the results were outstanding. His rates are very reasonable for the quality and scope of work. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Shohola, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
