"Very prompt in coming out and measuring and letting us pick out what we wanted. They couldn't do the floor, only around the tub and in the shower. They would not remove the old tile (which was in excellent condition, just outdated) wanted to use the acrylic and cover it up! I didn't like that idea and also didn't like the look. The price was outrageous, wanted over $12,000 just to cover up. I found a tile guy who did both bathrooms (removed the old tile down to the studs) including floors, with rich, durable porcelain tile. He also installed insert boxes in both and a seat in the shower. We did both bathrooms from top to bottom including replacing fixtures, sinks, cabinet tops, commodes, etc. for $2,000 LESS. Yes, it did take longer but the finish product is no comparison. I would not recommend this company, it pays to shop around!"

"I had three interactions with this company. First, on Thanksgiving Day, one of the owners of the company responded to a call and helped troubleshoot a problem over the phone. Second, a service person made a repair to the well system. Third, an office manager called me for payment. In all interactions, the company representative was courteous and professional. The repair made, replacing the pressure tank, was completed well, though in my opinion, very overpriced. However, the repair technician said there was an additional problem in the well, and that if it was deep, they could not fix it. I had to call a second well company to make that repair (Claytons in Fountain Inn, who came quickly and made the repair for a very good price). I think it was reasonable for Pretty in Pink to defer this problem, though it turned out that the well pump was not deep, 80 feet. Bottom line, this company's people were good to work with. However, for well work, they are not able to complete my full service, and I think their rates are too high."

"I’d like to give a 5-star shout-out to SC Maintenance. We had a variety of repairs to be done on our mobile home and was looking for a “one call gets all” company and we found one. I was contacted within 5 minutes of sending an email, and arrangements were made, and met, for a walkthrough. After agreeing on a start date, Shawn and his crew showed up to work. This group of guys are delightful, knowledgeable and quick to offer options that allowed us to weigh in on the repairs and costs. The work was exceptional. We have plans for other repairs and I look forward to seeing all of them again."

Each and every job has been done professionally and completed within a reasonable time frame. "We chose CrawlSpace Medic based on professionalism, reliability, reasonable cost estimate, and previous reviews on Angie’s List. Each day the crew showed up on time, worked hard all day, and cleaned up at end of each day; were respectful of property, and very professional, and pleasant to work with. They kept us informed of progress, and what was being done each day. During removal of old piping, they found additional damage behind the pipes that was not visible/identified during initial inspection- were very reasonable with determining the additional cost. They replaced damaged sills, old rotted floor joists, installed permanent support girders with masonry piers, installed a 10ml plastic vapor barrier, and installed multiple foundation vents. We are very satisfied with the results. Our floors are no longer bouncy, and floors feel very sturdy- was a dramatic difference after work completed. The 10 ml plastic Vapor barrier also has prevented that old damp smell inside the house after heavy rains. Was a good experience, and reasonable cost-(initial estimate $10,400, additional work required and we added foundation vent installation was $3800); would hire again."

"I had some difficulty getting a plumber to come out as the temperature had been very low and people had had frozen pipes, so I had to wait a few days before I could get anyone to come out. Home Advisor had recommended Ace Plumbing LLC, so I called them. The owner came out to look at the job and give me an estimate. I also had another company give me an estimate, and it was twice as high as the one given by Ace. Heath came out to do the work with the owner's son assisting. It was discovered that the sink in the bathroom was rusted, so they went to get the one we decided on from the internet website. They installed that and both faucets in a reasonable amount of time. Both men were very pleasant and professional and did an excellent job. I will certainly hire them again the next time I have a plumbing issue due to their great work as well as the very reasonable price I was charged. I would not hesitate at all in recommending them to others."

"Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace."
