"I never signed up for this account on Home Advisor and Carson's Handyman just showed up at my door after he said he tried calling me (which had a bad phone number listed for me), He then emails me that he was charged from home advisor to come give me an estimate which I did not request. I am not impressed with Home Advisor or this Carson's Handyman Service just showing up at my door and his email to me making it seem like I owe him the money you charged him."

"We had a very good experience with this provider.  When we called him initially, we weren't sure of everything that needed to be done except that we needed to get our basement bathroom up to "live-in standards."  He responded to our inquiry promptly and gave us a clear estimate of what he thought it would cost.  He gave us a lower and upper limit that it wouldn't cost any more.  We originally thought we were going to have to replace the entire shower stall because it had been unused for so long; it was in pretty bad shape.  He told us a good cleaning, which he could do, would take care of the aesthetics and that we wouldn't need to replace the fixtures but just to polish and clean and re-attach them.  <br /> He also noticed a couple of other issues in the basement that needed attention, such as the handrail and carpeting that had been pulled up at the bottom of the basement stairway landing, which he offered to take care of.  He addressed all of these "odds and ends" very professionally and told us to give him a call if anything were amiss after he left.  Needless to say, everything was taken care of to our satisfaction and it all looks great.  Everything's ready for our tenant to move in and we didn't have to do the major renovation we thought we might have to.  The bathroom looks brand new and the basement stairs and landing are now safe again.  It took him about a week from the initial bid to the completed work but it only took him a few hours to do the work once he started.  Would definitely use him again for other "handyman type" jobs; highly satisfied. <br />"
