Kenny repointed steps on the front and back porch, and repaired couple areas on porch where tiles were cracked and loose. Due to rainy weather I had to wait a few weeks before he could start but the wait was worth it. Kenny and his assistant arrived early and worked in hot, humid conditions. Kenny is easy to work with, meticulous, and knows his trade. I was very pleased with his work. It has been a year since the work was done and everything looks great."

"My wife and I have dealt with many contractors over the last 30 years and Mr. Hipp is, by far, the absolute best of the best. If you need any masonry worked performed, call Chuck Hipp or you are making a huge mistake! My wife and I are perfectionists and difficult to please and Mr. Hipp greatly exceeded our expectations. His work is nothing short of perfection, a rating of A++. We had issues with a brick veneer wall that arose from faulty construction. It was so badly damaged that Nationwide, our insurance company of 25 + years, refused to renew our homeowner’s insurance unless the wall was repaired with very short notice. My sister had masonry work performed by Mr. Hipp and we admired his superb craftsmanship. I contacted Mr. Hipp, explained our situation, and he came out late the same day on Saturday to assess the situation and provide us with his recommendation. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and we hired him. Due to the urgency of our situation, Mr. Hipp reprioritized his schedule and began work within a couple days, without a signed contract or any deposit! I contacted an engineer that works for Nationwide and shared with him Mr. Hipp’s proposal. The engineer informed me he was well aware of Mr. Hipp’s reputation and stated that whatever he did would greatly exceed the requirements of Nationwide. The new wall and surrounding area is absolute perfection. It blends in so well with the rest of the masonry work that you cannot tell a repair was performed. Mr. Hipp also repaired some sloppy masonry work performed by another local firm whom I won’t mention here which now looks exceptional, build us a beautiful new brick mailbox, and repaired our brick walkways and chimney. The flashing on our roof had to be repaired after the wall was built. I called a reputable roofing company who stated they were backed up 3-4 weeks. I informed Mr. Hipp and he called the same company and they repaired the roof the next day as a favor to him! Chuck Hipp is a man of integrity and the absolute best in his craft. He’s also a wonderful, caring person that you can trust explicitly. We have never met anyone quite like him."

"Our is 2.5 storey and steep roof. Owner visited and without getting on roof told me that you need to replace 2 flashings. The house is 9 years old and according to him ( I am not sure) it is better to replace flashing after 10-12 years any way. I think flashing should have same about 30 years life of roof. However, I accepted the recommendation as cost was $150. Also, I don't think they inspected or did anything on other side of the roof. He sent Brian in the following week to carry out work. Brian is really hardworking honest guy. He spent about 4 hours on roof to replace flashing and nail down singhles on one side of roof. I was not happy since they didn't even look at other side of roof. Since my $200 +79 was worth their effort of 4 hours I am OK with the service provided. However, I felt that they are giving this deal to generate more business. and chnging of flushing was not necessary. Anyway I was happy with Brian and hence I am giving A other wise I would have given B."

"Took a while to get scheduled, work turned out well.  Owner didn't really follow up any or check on crew at all.  Would have added some work for them if they did.  Demo crew was really unprofessional.  Made a mess of the house."

"The good:
- The people were friendly for the most part
- They did good work in some ways
- Their subcontractors did good work
- They gave us a quartz counter top "for free" for our desk
- They did a couple extra things without charging us
- Everything looks good (if you don't look too closely)
The bad:
- I did not like the communication in the beginning, but I hoped, based on the reviews they got, that they would do a good job. I was disappointed with a lot of things - see below.
- I had to prepare my own detailed cost estimate (based on their difficult to understand e-mails) and get them to let me know if my estimate was correct or not. They would only give me a lump sum price and very little detail on what I was getting.
- They seemed to have never worked with the Cabinet Factory before. It was almost impossible to get any information about the cabinets we bought prior to signing a contract. Neither Get It Done (GID) or the Cabinet Factory wanted to talk to us about them. In the beginning I asked for no fiberboard and ended up with lots of fiberboard. Also, GID apparently does not know what fiberboard is - they were trying to tell me the kick-boards were not fiberboard (they are). The cabinets seem pretty low quality although at the time I was told by the Cabinet Factory that the cabinets I was getting were good quality and approaching the cost of the high end cabinets. One of the sliders in the pantry broke right away because there was too much weight. I never had this problem with my previous cabinets.
- They used wax crayon as paint in many locations on the cabinets. This is bad because it is not intended as paint, it is sticky, and wipes off easily.
- They told me it would be $100 more per fixture (about $1000) for LED under cabinet lighting. I still don't understand why they say it costs that much more. The lights they installed get very hot.
- There was very little attention to detail. They were going to stop the peninsula cabinets about 6 inches short of the end of the floor tile. It would have looked really silly - fortunately, I caught it in time and got them to adjust it.
- They put two joints in my crown molding about 12 inches apart and did a poor job with the joints. It looks very bad.
- The painting of the walls was bad. They missed lots of areas and they wanted me to mark all the areas they missed for them.
- They did not plan out the closet desk and shelves well at all. I told them I wanted a shelf for a TV, and they gave me shelves that weren't wide enough. Then they rigged it to work after lots of discussion.

"They were punctual and got right to work. They did a good job trimming the bushes and getting the yard spring ready. The river rocks, stepping stones and liriope got a little covered up with the mulch; however, these items were smaller and a little hard to avoid. I appreciate how hard they worked and their professionalism.

I am updating my review to give them all A's. Originally I gave them a B for quality for covering up the liriope, but I have since found that that's the way it's done. They knew what they were doing...the liriope have all grown back beautiful and my Landscaping is really starting to show better. Originally thought I had given them an A for professionalism because they were very professional, courteous, and polite but I don't know what button I may have accidentally pushed to give them a B. I was impressed with their work ethic and manners. Thank you!

"It took about a week to complete the job. The team at Bedrock did an exceptional job.  Jason and his crew members were knowledgeable and professional.  There was great care taken to ensure that there was no yard damage.  The 6 piers were installed and all of the brickwork on the foundation was repaired.  With the lifetime warranty that Bedrock provides and the quality of the work which was provided I feel secure that the foundation of my home is now solid.  I would highly recommend the services of Bedrock to anyone in need of foundational repair.
