When John had another contractor come in, as in when the concrete was poured in the garage, they were all professional tradesman and not handymen. We had daily communication on the progress and John always talked to us in detail on how the job was progressing. All material was high grade and best quality. The job site was always cleaned up at the end of the work day. We did go above our discussed budget, but only because of some issues that needed to be brought up to code and that we decided not to go a cheaper route to fix the issue. We also made the decision to change or add on to the original plan, but we have been extremely happy with the job(s) that were done and would not change a thing we had done. We are extremely happy that our home is now maintenance free and we have and still do receive many compliments on the improvements done to our home. "At the time of contacting the company we were not looking to have the windows replaced. His quote was lower with windows than others were without windows being replaced.So we went with getting the windows replaced at the same time as the siding being replaced. We are glad that we did it looks great. <br /> It want much better than I would have ever expected with such a big job. The one snow fall that we had this year was right in the beginning of this job. They did not miss one day of work they kept on working through the snow. They completed the job on time as a matter of fact ahead of schedule. This company does not subcontract there work out the owner of the company was there each and every day. I did not have to miss any work for this job to be done. They worked around my schedule for the installation of the picture windows. <br /> I will be hiring them to remodel my bathroom next. I am meeting with John next week to go over the details of the job as I only have one bathroom.  <br /> I am very pleased and happy with the work they have done. <br />"

"Was great from start to finish. Dan the sales rep was on time, honest, personable and caring about our budget. Installation day the installers arrived on time calling to let us know they were on their way. The living room window was a concave bow which other companies said "OH" to and scratched their heads! The installers, Scott, Brent and Dan were awesome! The dining room window was out and in quickly and easily. The living room window took them 6 hours to install and complete the trim work but we are so satisfied with it that we are just amazed at how well it turned out. Because of the year the house was built (1953) the crew closed off the area and tested for lead paint which we found out later we had on the living room sill which was really good to know! After the job was completed they cleaned up well and had everything back to the way it was before they arrived. Had one problem with customer service after with ill fitting screens where they "passed the buck" back to our sales rep and he took care of our concerns by arranging someone to come out on 7/26/17 with new screens so we'll see how that goes since I have read that I am not the only one that was not totally satisfied with Pella Customer Service! Too bad that one part of this entire project became frustrating since up to that point we were beyond happy with everyone and everything. Would certainly recommend the company, installers and workmanship. Even the village inspector was impressed with the job that was performed!"

"Sometimes things work out better than expected... My wonderful wife, Camille, and I were in desperate need of someone who could patch some holes on the ceiling of our front porch. As seniors we were very aware that most people in the construction field were more than happy to provide only basic results at inflated prices. And, that's assuming any typical contractor would even consider our project - simply not enough profits to be worth their time. That really is what we were experiencing with the local contractors. We asked for a recommendation from our local Menard's store and they provided us the name and contact info for Terry Nadosy - owner of Handyman247 LLC. Oh my goodness, that was the best advice we've received in years. We figured if Menards recommended him he certainly was not a fly-by-night storm chaser. Or, someone who was taking advantage of local seniors. We really appreciate Menards for providing his name. But, what we most appreciate is the quality of human being Terry turned out to be. Camille and I are from an era of knowing the value of the "old-school" work ethic, how there was an importance for Great customer service, and where when a person told you they would do something - they would keep their word! Those were good days... When we first contacted Terry I explained the scope of our project. I also explained why having those holes patched was so very important to me to avoid a repeat of what I had experienced a few years before - an invasion of squirrels that would terrorize me by running around in the ceilings inside our house. It honestly drove me nuts! So, Terry understood how important this repair was to us, and he worked us into his busy schedule. He knew it was not going to be a highly profitable project for him - but how Very Important it was to Camille and me. We talked a little about what we needed done and he told me he would be over on Saturday to do a quote. To my surprise and delight he showed up. He looked at the project and said if we'd like he would go ahead and take care of it right then - who does that? So, he spent the next 3 1/2 hours doing the repair. I decided to sit on the porch to talk with him during his work, and it was so refreshing. But, that's a story for another day. Suffice it to say I was able to ascertain that Terry is a Quality Man who genuinely cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers. We so appreciate that - and we so appreciate that he was able to help us and not gouge us on the price. "My windows have mullions inside which are difficult to remove and replace and he did that with no problem.  He was very good at getting all the gunk and hard water spots off the exterior of the windows and I have to say they have never looked cleaner.  I usually do my windows twice a year myself, but I think I"ll be calling Don at least once a year for a really good cleaning.  He is also very courteous and professional and arrived on time. <br />"

"I called S and A Maintenance when I noticed some boards in the soffit under the roof of our old garage appeared to be rotting. We were informed that we needed a new roof which was no surprise. S and A was booked up in the fall but came out in December, replaced the rotten wood and completed the roofing job with no trouble. The roof has held up well. They also reserved some of the good boards for possible later repair of our 1905 house since boards of that size are no longer produced. I have used S and A multiple times for both small and large jobs, because I trust Dave to figure out what needs to be done on an old house and he always comes out to inspect the work afterwards. <br />"

"Jared Freeman was professional and very knowledgeable. He paid attention to detail and was meticulous with his work. For example, I was very happy with the tile work he did. I was keeping the same tiles that I had on my kitchen floor which was done about 6 years ago. However, since part of the remodeling was to remove the peninsula and replace it with an island, there were some tiles that had to be removed in order to correctly follow the pattern of my existing floor. The existing tiles were discontinued and I only had very limited leftover tiles from 6 years ago. Jared was very careful with making sure that none of the existing tiles were broken and he expertly installed tiles to cover up where the peninsula used to be. The remodeling had to be put on hold for a week because we had to wait for the fabrication and installation of my countertops. Jared was very accommodating and immediately resumed work once the countertops were installed. The farm sink that I bought was quite heavy. I am very happy that he put extra support underneath the sink. Sometimes, when remodeling a kitchen, you will face hurdles along the way as you do the actual work. Jared was always able to find a solution or a workaround to remove the hurdles and make things right. I would like to make special mention of one of his crew, named Dave. Dave was always focused, worked quickly and efficiently. I am grateful for the hard work that Jared and his crew put in my kitchen. He managed the project well, accommodated all my requests and worked within my budget."
