"Challenging steep slope to navigate to correct lower walk-out level water infiltration along the slope including working around ALL utilities through the wall and a site sprinkler system. As part of their work they corrected a roof down spout and drainage concern not related to the waterproofing work. Absolutely no problems with their work or the restoration of the slope. They cleaned up after the work and even had an unfortunate diesel fuel spill on my driveway, they power washed its entire length of 130-feet. Ryan and his crew were a pleasure to work with. HomeSpec understands what customer service means."

"GREAT! Nosh is great. Honest, great personality. He WILL call you and be there exactly when he says he will. Showed up at 7AM on the first day to quote the job. Showed up 7AM as he said for the day of work. He called me mid-day with a "big problem". Originally planned to replace 4 rows of brick and apply a concrete cap to the chimney. Apparently the flue was cracked, and the job required 9 rows of bricks to be replaced. He DID NOT charge extra for the bricks or extra half day of labor. He did replace 3 pieces of chimney flue (unexpected) at just the cost of parts.
Finished the job in one day, cleaned up, and thanked me for my business. Perfect work, this guy knows his stuff."

"The leveling part itself was awesome. Justin was very detailed in making sure the floor was leveling properly, the gaps were filling in correctly, and that the leveling mixture was mixed appropriately. He showed me all the steps and why they were doing them. The reason I rated them good was because the cleanup could have been much better. They basically just washed out their wheelbarrows with the leftover concrete onto my front lawn. And the one helper spent most of the day wasting my water by spraying down the driveway to allegedly clean it, but it really didn't end up clean at all. Overall, the service that I paid for was to level my garage floor, and that was done professionally and perfectly."

"Leveling/sealing went fine. Developed sand leak. Called company and was told: 'invoice clearly states that wash out not covered. Wash-out was never directly discussed as the drive clearly showed that it was leveled before: drilled and plugged holes. Tom Morgan said sand was not the material he used and I asked what could be done to stop the leaking (via email) and he never answered."

"Very hard working and dedicated team! Removed and re-poured my aging and cracked back yard concrete porch. Very detailed and knowledgeable. Properly re-leveled the surface with gravel prior to pouring. Coordinated with other contractors working on a separate project to make sure job is done right and exceeded my expectations. This team is highly reliable! I strongly recommend if you need help with your home projects!!!"

"The tuck-pointing and waterproofing were done last year. The grout color did not match so they came out this year and ground out and replaced the grout and now it looks great! There was still a small leak after the waterproofing and they repaired that also. They are great workers and very trustworthy. Jordan was great to deal with and I would highly recommend Brick Concepts

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in South Rockwood, MI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
