"The owner personally took the measurements and prepared the quote. S&S is a Trane dealer and supplied a Trane system (80% single speed furnace, 4-ton A/C). The lines leading to from the A/C to the blower were also replaced due to the different type of refrigerant being used as well as a poor installation job on the original lines. S&S's quote was the best of 3 for the services being performed and type of system being installed. The installers showed up on time and completed the job in one day. The owner personally registered the system with Trane and provided me with the warranty information. I waited until now to write the review in order to see if the heater works properly, and it has been running well for the past month."

"The crew from Gleason were polite, accommodating and professional throughout. Ryan came out and estimated the work and was there for the start of the project. He came onsite mid-way through when I called because of a problem I perceived related to the radiator - he re-assured me that it wasn't a problem and he was right. There were 3 guys on-site for two half days (before and after the kitchen updates). I gave detailed requirements on sink configuration and the waste line for the sink as we needed clearance for under-sink recycling bins - they were happy to accommodate. Clearance was tight for the installation of the new cooktop and they were able to place the gas line exactly where requested. Once finished, Bob requested some stainless steel cleaner so he could clean-up the inevitable mess made after installation. They were also happy to sweep and cleanup any mess they had made. The floor had been recently re-finished and I requested that they leave shoes outside - no problem for them. They were very thorough in testing everything they had done. I will use Gleason plumbing for all my future needs."

"(This happened the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, 11/26/17. Boiler for house heating system failed to start. I called Lauder P & H and got a call back from Jack Lauder shortly after. He came on time that same day and replaced the electric ignition system for the boiler, which solved the problem. Fast worker with a lot of knowledge & experience, a good attitude, and was willing to do the job on a holiday weekend!"

"John & Devon arrived right within the promised time window. They quickly found the leak (from the tub drain). Unfortunately there was still some lead piping in the bathroom that they warned me was fragile to begin with - and of course, when they were replacing the tub drain, one of the lead pipes developed a hairline crack (it wasn't their fault, it's the nature of a 94-year-old house). They had to run to the supply store several times over many hours but eventually fixed both problems successfully and now there is no lead piping left in the bathroom system, which makes future repairs much less stressful. They cleaned up after themselves completely and were pleasant the entire time, not minding explaining to me how certain things work as they fixed them. I have used A&N several times now and I will continue to use them."
