Customers say: Quality work

"Marty and his team were awesome to work with and very professional. On time and the value they delivered was best in class! Neighbors and strangers that pass by have stopped and asked who did our driveway all the time which is a testimonial of their work quality in its self! The swirl design they put created makes our driveway stand out vs. the boring straight brush look you see from most contractors! I highly recommend Marty and Warrior Concrete!!!!!!!"

"We contacted Greg at Omnipro to have pavers added to an existing backyard patio. Greg was great to deal with and his recommendation of which pavers to select was spot on. The work was done timely & the end result exceeded our expectations. The clean up & repair of our yard was also very good. One minor post install issue. Again, Omnipro was very responsive. Highly recommend."

"This was the second time we hired Willis. He did such a nice job on our kitchen three years ago, so we did not hesitate to hire him again. The job is done and we are very pleased with the results. We started with just a shower. We wanted to make it bigger and use the extra space we had. But we ended up remodeling the entire bathroom: bathtub, new sinks, painting. Willis was very patient with us and as always offered very nice ideas. It felt like he knew better than we did what we wanted our bathroom to look like. What was really nice is that he and his crew always cleaned up after they finish their work. This was very important to us as we have kids and they are all over the place. Given all the circumstances, the remodeling took much longer than we expected it to be, but we were willing to wait. It takes time to do the job properly."

"We've previously used Stockman Lawnscape for yard work and have always been well pleased. The employees are skilled, prompt and respectful. Due to a recent huge snowstorm, we needed to have our extremely long driveway cleared of almost 2 ft. of snow. We called Dave (company owner) and although his own equipment had broken the previous day, he manged to borrow equipment so that he could service his regular customers. He both plowed and shoveled so that the driveway and all sidewalks were accessible, His service was, as always, careful, efficient and well priced."

Small jobs welcome

"I would highly recommend FCLC for any of your excavation or paver patio needs. I used them to put in a beautiful new paver patio, paver sidewalk, paver firepit and built-in grill bar area! They did amazing quality work and the price was right. The back and side yard areas required excavation before laying the pavers. Very knowledgeable with their machines. Had no problems bringing in the machines and getting the work done. They were reliable, professional and the job was done right! I canâ t tell you how many compliments I get for how beautiful my patio looks. TJ and his crew will do beautiful work for you! You wonâ t be disappointed!"

"The owner of Wolfeâ  s Extreme Builders, Chad, made the entire process of addling a Trex composite deck an exceptional experience. From the planning phase, Chad was able to show us pictures and plans from previous composite decks he built. He was 100% committed from day one, sketching, measuring, and offering tips weâ  d never have thought of. He designed a rain system and fabricated it to the exact specs of the deck. The rain system, fit underneath and to the joists collects rainwater. It flows into a hidden gutter and downspout which is then diverted away from the house. Now instead of having one outdoor space, we have two, since the stamped cement pad under the deck wonâ  t get wet. Workers from this outfit showed up ready to work until the job was complete. You donâ  t find this kind of work ethic every day. I will use Wolfeâ  s Extreme Builders for all my building projects in the future because they have proven to be top notch!"

"The professional did a good job, he did exactly what we asked him to do. He did an excellent job, everyone who saw his work liked what they saw very much. The work he did for me to this day, it still looks as nice as when he completed the project. The work he did for me looks beautiful, I am very pleased with his work and the value of the money."

"We hired Steve to come in a fix a HUGE problem we had with our driveway installation. Not only did he save the day, literally, his crew was courteous, prompt, dedicated and conscientious of leaving the job site tidy every day. There are not enough stars to rate the quality of their work and the professional manner in which they handled the job. We are extremely pleased and have recommended Bickerstaff Landscaping to everyone we know. Contacting Steve was the best call we could have ever made! Doug and Amy G. - Pittsburgh, PA"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Southwest, PA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
