We shopped around and got several quotes from other companies and ultimately went with AHD because we thought we were going to be treated fairly and like human being and not like a transaction. Well that changed the second you signed on the dotted line. The have no pride or care for their â customersâ aka paychecks. I have never wrote a negative review about a company before but felt it extremely important after giving them every opportunity to make it right for me and my family. You would be better off with a big box store or Pella, I honestly feel like they should be ashamed of themselves. If you are reading this review and have any questions and are considering no using American Home Design please give me a call and I will gladly speak with you about why you should NOT. The manger I was dealing with this entire time to this day has still not answered my email, extremely poor customer service. Bait and switch sales tactics. RUN!"

The Jacuzzi Bath Remodel TV ad is all a scam. Keep in mind Nothing is Free, some one is going to pay and that will be you, the consumer. The showers & baths are priced 2.5 to 3 times what they should cost. A basic shower w/ curtain rod cost over $14k * Wow, Don't be taken advantage of. Search all the reviews for this company first. Read all the low scores * I wished I had."

They cut the slab without supporting it and it collapsed enough to cause our brick fireplace face to have several cracks in it. With all the repairs we had to have done, the asbestos abatement project and replacing all our clothing, betting and some furniture, and with the amount our insurance company shorted us, we lost $43,000 of our retirement savings. Avoid this contractor like the plague!"
