Recently I engaged Andy to service our well-water acid neutralizer tank, because I questioned the reliability of service by another company 13 months earlier. Andy tested our water and found that its pH value was 6.97, which was consistent with previous readings over the past six months when he did other work for us. Because our well-water pH is essentially neutral, Andy explained the acid neutralizer tank is not necessary. He offered two options: 1) remove the tank (thus leaving us with only the water softener tank) or 2) empty it, which option I selected. He also reduced the cost of the service call. Andy’s approach starkly contrasts with the other company that for years took advantage of an unsuspecting customer by charging almost $300 to “service” the tank and unnecessarily adding expensive calcite. "I will NEVER use ARS of Virginia again! ARS failed sales & installation. During sales pitch on 12/17, I was told install team would cover floors & anything else. 12/18- During HVAC installation, install team drilled into the brick wall to run the pvc piping outside. They did not cover anything so the brick dust went everywhere! They also failed to seal around the pvc piping hole indoors so cold air was seeping in. Lastly, they spilled pvc primer that is not removable all over my white floors. 12/21- Called ARS b/c house was filled w/ a plastic burning smell. ARS sent tech who said he could not smell anything due to his nasal congestion. He explained that new HVAC may need to ?air out?. 12/23- Heat stopped working in middle of night. Called ARS tech discovered that the air handler burned out b/c it was improperly installed. Plastic condensation tubing was installed outside so it froze & led to heat failure. That explained burning plastic smell b/c air handler was working overtime."

"We had 2 bathrooms redone and are very happy with the final product! Our team, lead by Tate, was very professional and responded to errors and changes very graciously and promptly. The downstairs bathroom was made with a zero entry floor and I had them put a track system on the ceiling for a curtain since the space was small and I didn't want any glass. I have elderly parents and needed ease of use in the space. They stripped it down to the studs and put waterproofing on the entire floor, dropped the shower floor down to the joists and poured a custom shower pan. No curbs to trip on. In the Master, they removed my old huge jacuzzi tub, stall shower and block window, removed the wall and expanded my linen closet. Took out my old vanity and toilet and had a custom vanity built with A quartz countertop that we went and picked out at Stone. There were a few bumps here and there but the team met each challenge with a positive attitude and made sure I was satisfied with every step along the way. We are very happy with both bathrooms and will hire them again to do another bathroom in 2026."
