He arrived on time for our appointment to discuss a new walkway for our house and came armed with ideas and photos of different paver options to consider and suggestions for what would work best. We chose to keep the S-shaped curve of the prior path, which is trickier to install than a straight walk, but installation went very smoothly and on schedule, and was finished in two days. We couldn't be happier with the result. The walkway is beautiful and a huge upgrade to our home. I would definitely hire Alex Masonry again."

"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"I've hired Iljazi Masonry for two different jobs now because I've been so happy with their work. First we tore down our rotting deck, and had them install a bluestone patio. They laid a thick cement foundation so that I will never have weeds grow through between the stone and took care in cutting the stone and placing it so as not to be wasteful and so the pieces went together without looking too symmetrical. I wish I had done this years ago...one of the best investments I've made. Then I hired them again to repair/rebuild two stone pillars at the bottom of my driveway.
