"Fantastic. Jose is truly a professional and a informed landscaper. He is an eye for plants, adding color and dimension. He understood my style and suggested the perfect pavers for my walkway and mailbox. His workers were efficient, clean and the workmanship on everything is sound. I love my outdoor living space, both front and backyard."

"One of the owners, John, met with me initially to give me a quote and managed the job through finish. He did a few different designs addressing my notes throughout. Injured them to put in a brick patio and walkway and do all lanscaping in my backyard. His crew was excellent, professional and worked fast. I was amazed! John came the final day to inspect the work and do a final walk through. I am so happy with Antonelli Landscaping from start to finish and excited to finally use my backyard. I've already hired them for the spring to redo the front of the house with new walkways and landscaping."

"Susan and the Clean Cut team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They have helped take a blank slate (or pile of dirt if you want to be specific) and transform it into a beautiful and practical exterior of our home. They did such a great job that we have utilized their team not only for the first phase of our home landscaping, but then brought them back each of the next two years to continue to implement new ideas & changes we looked for at our home. We have leveraged their team for everything from sod & irrigation, hard scape, custom lights and so much more! Susan and team have always put their customer hat on, helping balance the investment and aesthetics. There is nothing better than watching the fleet of Clean Cut trucks and machinery roll in for a project (when you hire then you’ll know what I mean - it’s impressive!!!). They’re easy to work with and have a great team…nothing but glowing endorsements and promise they will help elevate your home, whether it’s starting from scratch or improving on your existing outdoor set up. Thanks to the Clean Cut team & I’m sure another project is on the horizon…"

"Tom Budd gave us truly personal service from selection through installation.  We were able to select and reserve the exact granite slabs we wanted (that Tom held for us until our kitchen cabinets were installed).  Then Jason came out and made precision templates of our counter tops.  We then went to Granite Creations' shop where Tom placed the templates on the granite slabs and we were able to choose the exact flow of the grain that we wanted.  Finally, Tommy and Juan brought the completed granite pieces to our home and flawlessly installed them.  There were no hitches or 'gotchas'.  Tom and the team made the entire process a pleasure.  We will use them again. <br />"

"Overall I was disappointed with Lotus Gardenscapes. It did not start out well when our landscape designer was late to our initial meeting regarding her proposed landscape design. I was not impressed with her designed landscape layout, and had to make several changes before I was happy with it. The wait to have them come rip out our existing landscape and install/plant the new landscape was about a month, which was fine, since we were not in a hurry, but they forgot to grind two stumps, which delayed planting a bit. In order to communicate with them, I emailed the designer, since I never could get through on phone. You never actually speak to someone when calling them, you just have to leave a message, and they never called me back after leaving a message. Eventually, I got the phone number of our designer so it was easier to communicate with her, but she never gave it to me, and I got her number by asking the project manager for it when I overheard him talking to her on the phone. When the plants were planted, I was not happy with the placement of many of the plants, and asked them to come back and move several of the plants. When we did reschedule a time for them to come fix it, they were not able to come out the first 3 rescheduled times and finally came on the fourth rescheduled time. One of the times they did not come, the designer emailed me they couldn't make it a half hour into the scheduled time and did not call me, so I ended up waiting for 2 hours for them because I don't check my email every 5 minutes. Now that they have finished fixing things, I am satisfied with how it looks, but it definately could look better and it took a lot longer time than it should have to fix and complete things."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Sterling Heights, MI

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
