"Everything was good our technical service representative came over for a quote, and was able to install my hot water heater and icemaker in less than three hours total. Pretty remarkable"

"Someone came out the day before to see where the furnace was going to be installed. He suggested we go with a slightly larger unit for the size of our house, but we opted to go with the unit that was included in the deal.
Two men came out and installed the A/C and furnace. They told us they would be done with everything in about 4 hours, and kept pretty close to that. The furnace and A/C are both working perfectly so far.
We were mostly very happy with the company and the men who installed our units. There were only a couple minor annoyances. Our old furnace was incredibly rusty inside, and when they removed it from the house, they left a trail of rust and dirt from the basement to the front yard (including through our living room). They did not offer to clean it up, but left it for us to deal with. They also broke a light bulb in the basement and didn't get all the pieces cleaned up.

"When our heat pump went out I did, like the majority of owners would do to secure HVAC bids is google the local listings. I did and one of the bids secured came from Hansman Heating and Cooling. During the process of securing bids the owner came in not as the lowest but one that was associated with the Ameren rebate program. As a result with the rebate, the effective cost was lower than the other bidders plus the company was recommended by Ameren. In an area of unpredictable labor service and summer time weather(it seems that everyone needs cooling service), I was very pleased with his professionalism in his work ethic and by showing up as slated. I was impressed that they took time to explain everything, the quality of workmanship and the way they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone in the lake area."

"Hard to imagine a smoother installation.  One worker who was incredibly industrious as well as courteous and neat removed the tub and the old shower and installed the new shower, walls, door, etc. skillfully and with very little inconvenience to us!

"They did an excellent job of installation and instructions on use, as well as making it easy to have the model number rather than trying to find it myself.

"They are replacing my water heater."

"Showed up when he said he would. Explained my options. Installed the water heater and cleaned up afterword."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
