"I will start by saying that the work they did waterproofing our basement looks good, and I am hopeful that it has fixed our problem. We've had a good bit of rain recently, and so far, so good. That, of course, is the most important thing. That said, I chose this company, even though they were on the high range of the quotes I received, because I did not mind paying more for a professional experience and great customer service. I was disappointed with this aspect of the experience. The day they were scheduled to begin they never showed up, and I ended up calling them three times that day. The woman in the office was responsive, but she said that they did not know where they were. The next scheduled appointment was for the morning, and they did not end up coming until 2pm, again without any communication. Both instances were due to car issues, but a phone call to keep me updated would have been appreciated to allow me to better plan my day. When they did start the work the crew leader was friendly and appeared to know what he was doing, but he offered little information about the job unless I asked. Prior to the work being done, I also had to keep after the sales representative to put their warranty in writing. Twice he promised to email it to me, and only after contacting him a third time did he send it through. If I had not paid so much (over $11,000) I would have given them another star, but at this price point my expectations were high."

There was immediate follow-up to see if I was satisfied and I my account was adjusted when the cost of the service was less than expected. Before you go with a company that advertises on TV everyday give these guys a try. You will be glad you did.

"We found Cantey Foundations to be the solution to our sagging floors and cracking walls - even after speaking with some of the other popular alternatives. Our team, consisting of Dallas, Corey, David, Dallas and Alex((2 Dallases),were professional, knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Not only did we see a definite change in the sloping floors, but the cracks closed up and doors stopped sticking. When the crew was done, they cleaned up everything. Although it is only a week since the work, we do not have any concerns because of Cantey's warranty, which guarantees the work for 25 years. "During December Mel did our HVAC maintenance, diagnosed the need for and installed a new condensate pump for our downstairs system and added a UVC germicidal system for our new upstairs HVAC system. We always request Mel for his expertise, knowledge and willingness to explain, and he always does an excellent job. We also had a new upstairs HVAC that was installed by Robbie and John and subsequent duct cleaning and disinfecting by Thomas. They all did an excellent job and were good and patient at explaining, answering questions and cleaning up the work area."

"The Sears Home Improvement rep was prompt and professional. The materials proposed for our roof replacement (Shingles & peel and stick underlayment) were top notch. However, the price quote was 30% more than a galvalume metal roof we used which required complete removal of the OSB roof sheathing replaced by plywood. We ended up with a 50 year roof instead of a 25 year roof at 70% of the cost."
