"The men were vry nice and easy to have around. Some of the areas of concern were not treated. There were two men involved, and the man who estimated the job included all that I needed. The other nice man who did the work said it was not possible to raise the lowest part because it was already level, even though 1/2 lower than the adjacent slab. That part had been raised a few years ago and had settled again. So we didn't agree on the work to do. Later the boss disagreed with me for asking for a lower price than the original job. Also, be sure to specify that all areas of outside concrete need to drain to the adjacent yard."

Also, Everdry furnishes a sump pump to us free of charge and we always have an extra sump pump in case the electric power goes off. "We recently moved to a 95 yr old home. We were told we had a dry basement when in fact we did not. We looked in to basement waterproofing with a couple different companies but the scope of the work and the cost didn’t feel like the right solution. "One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

"Excellent! Mark Forte, along with his Dad (approx 2010) gave me a quote; within $100 of another local company. Decided to use Forte as I understood his methods and depth of the foundation repair considerably better that the other guys. It was a serious undertaking, took five days. A bit messy as there was concrete dust from the saw, but this was expected. Once repairs were completed, we had a small leak.... within a day his entire crew was out to repair the problem, all at no additional charge. Repairs completed (2010) and basement has been 100% dry ever since! Highly recommend!"

"I was impressed with Expert from the first conversation with Nicole...polite, friendly, helpful. She scheduled Shane to come out within a few days. Impressed with Shane and his "we will find and fix the problem and guarantee the work" attitude and the timeliness of being worked into the schedule. His job leader, Jesus, was professional and personable also. They took out bushes, trenched and waterproofed along part of the back of the house where a beam met the foundation in two places. After the next rain, we had water in basement again. I called Shane and he came back the next day to further analyze and scheduled his team to come out the next week. Luckily, I had out of town company who was able to remove a couple pieces of siding to gain better access to the problem areas (since Expert doesn't do that). Problem was accessed and fixed*. Since hydraulic cement was involved in the fix, tar and plastic had to be delayed a day. Shane's team was already booked out of town the next day, so Shane agreed to come finish the job himself. Though he missed that day, he came the next day when he was scheduled off, so my visiting company could get the siding back on (impressed). * I say fixed because even after the 7-9" of rain we had one day in August, the two leak places were dry. Expert also did some waterproofing, drain work and gravel in a rocked egress area. The problem here later was found out to be a clogged and broken underground drain pipe under another downspout that caused the water and dirt in the window well to enter the house. What they did though with removing excess dirt and adding gravel will allow for better drainage in the future. Their putting everything back the way it was and cleanup was excellent."
