"Nexus finished a basement (plaster walls, drywall ceiling, vinyl flooring, lighting and baseboards) and remodeled a bathroom (tile, drywall, tub/toilet/vanity installation). Caroline was great to work with. She kept us informed at each step of the way, and was communicative about deadlines and decisions that needed to be made. The crew was very pleasant to have in our home; though the project was disruptive they were very courteous at all times and made sure we were comfortable in the house while work was going on. The basement and bathroom came out beautifully. Would hire again."

"Overall, the finishing of my basement went pretty smooth. The Owens Corning product, drop down ceiling, and flooring are all really sharp. In the beginning everything went fast and smooth with the framing and wall/floor/ceiling install being done within 2 weeks. There were some hiccups with minor imperfections, tv mount in wrong spot, etc. Those were fixed promptly. After that is when I ran into issues with other items in my contract that were not taken care of and the project felt forgot about. Just had some minor electric work, stairs to get carpeted, and didn't receive hanging clips yet. I had to constantly ask about these items and every answer would be "I forgot to ask or send the clips". I eventually got the items completed, but am not happiest that it took almost a month and constant reminding to get these items that should've been scheduled for during the project."

"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."
