We placed several calls and Quarry Hills was the only company to return our call. Michelle was very helpful with locating the same water heater within a short time frame as the gas heater that failed was still under warranty, to our surprise. She promptly scheduled a tech to our house by 1 p.m. the same day with the new water heater in tow. Seth was very knowledgeable and worked efficiently to get us back up and running. They were straight up with the cost and didn't exceed it when finished with the job. Rebecca followed up with a call to check in on our experience with Quarry and confirmed that they'd forward any warranty information upon receipt. Very professional from start to finish! "Called Burke and Sons to replace a ruptured how water heater, they were prompt in getting over but not much else was good. Two very young guys came over and did the work. They were not very professional but the job got done, so I didn't really care. I never really check the area where the heater is, and today I was in that closet and it's a mess. One of the vent pipes seems to have a leak and there is a bit of mold on the floor underneath the tank. The previous tanks in that spot had been there for almost 20 years with no such issues. Also, since it was urgent, no hot water, I didn't get prices which was also a mistake. My neighbor (condo complex) needed a new tank about a month later but got prices before having the work done and paid about 850.00 for the exact same setup that cost me 1150.00. I actually ran into the guy bringing his tank in and I stopped to talk to him and he was amazed at how much I paid, and asked if there was an office where he could leave his card. He figured he woud get a lot of business, being that much cheaper."

I *knew* I had some extra work needed (like replacing a shut-off valve that was leaking). I'm always fearful of these "deals" that then rope you into more money. Not here -- $45 extra to weld and replace a shut-off valve was insane. 3 hours of super and honest work, including having to MOVE my spigot (drilling, more piping, etc) and so easily done. It is VERY hard to get a good contractor (electrician, plumber, etc) to come out and do minor-size jobs and happy to do it. I will have him back to do more work!"
