"Zen Windows replaced the windows on our 60+ year old house. The crew was friendly and courteous, the quality of work was excellent, and they did an outstanding job cleaning up. I accidentally over-paid, and would never have know if Dan had not called me about it and written a check to square things up. It was an outstanding customer experience and I would hire them again in a second."

"We just had the Ringer Elite Windows installed throughout our home in Sunset Canyon, Dripping Springs. The windows look wonderful and seem to be much more energy efficient than the windows we replaced. It is much too soon to comment on their durability. Ringer's installed price was considerably less than other replacement windows we considered. The two man installer team from Ringer did a great job. They started and finished the windows in each room prior to removing the windows in another room. They expertly removed and reinstalled all window coverings. Then cleaned all the windows and any dust they created during the install. Our install team had been with Ringer many years and it showed in their attention to detail and quality work."

"We are so happy with our new windows! We feel not only the quality is excellent but the service from the beginning to end of installation excelled our expectations. We actually expected to have to do repair work on window sills as well as have to repaint other areas, but we were so wrong. The crew was so good (on time and worked diligently all day) that minimal repair, if any, is really needed. We would highly recommend Energy One for replacement of high quality windows and exceptional installation."

"In a word - Excellent. The company that builds the shutters did not properly prepare the frames on the larger Windows for shipping, so the were bent during shipping. Rather than making them work - the frames are nailed to the window frame, which Rex could have done, his installers told me it would be better to have the company to build a new set for the two large window (9 ft wide x 6 ft high) frames. I contacted Rex and he got right on the problem and within two weeks the new frames had been built and installed. I highly recommend Rex and Mary. I found them to be highly professional and ethical. Their installers are top notch and made sure every shutter worked perfectly before leaving."

"I called for a free estimate and the owner came the same day. He measured the windows and the patio screen door. I got solar screens for the door and all nine windows of four different sizes.Received the quote a day or so later via email.Came a day later and removed the patio screen door to complete its screening at the shop.

Three days later the install was done: he even fixed a small roller on the patio screen door which i believe he did not have to do and went the extra mile to do so. It hasn't worked that well in years.
The initial quote and final cost were the same.
Would recommend this company to anyone. Very nice person to work with."

"We went to the factory to see the products which was very helpful. The designer Tara, came to the house with samples as well, which was also very helpful. Tara was extremely professional and responsive. The treatments were installed within the original timeframe provided. I would highly recommend this company"

"What a great find Boris was. We had our lawn guy kick up a rock and break our front window. It was one window in a four panel grid. We had several other quotes telling us they had to replace all four windows costing us over $2k. Boris came out and quoted us for just the one window as our frame was not damaged. His window also came with an 8 year warranty, how can you beat that? He came out on a Thursday to give us a quote and was back on Tuesday to install the window. Amazing work, honest company! I have already referred him to a couple of friends and will definitely have him back out if we ever need anything! Thank you Boris!!!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Taylor, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
