Robert quickly troubleshot my HVAC Unit, and repaired chewed wire, checked to ensure by pilot was functioning well, as well as the fan and gas lines, He checked for any leaks, and treated corrosion on my pipes and repainted them. He pointed out that my main circuit board had some browning, and eventually might need to be replaced, and was very direct about the cost of the part (very affordable), and what it would cost to replace if necessary. Very respectfully, directly addressed the issues, honest, and definitely has a lot of integrity! I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a service done. I was very pleased."

"He was a little early, which was good, because we had no heat. We thought it might be the fuse, He checked, and it did need to be replaced. The heat still didn't work. A thermostat we installed was the same as the previous model (installed by another company). He took a long time to explain to us that the model we had wasn't the right one for our system and why. He is the first contractor to explain how our system is different. He replaced the thermostat with a different model. The price for the service call with the Angie's list discount was good. We could have purchased a new thermostat for less, but he told us that, and we went ahead since he was here, honest, and so informative. I will definitely call them again."

"When my A/C stopped working on the Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, I worried that I wouldn't be able to get anyone out to fix it until Tuesday. One of the "big guys" told me they could get me at 7 or 8pm, but they would need to charge me their "after hours rate". I called a few more places (with no answer) and then I reached Ted. He told me that he had a busy day, but he was close by and could stop by in 30 minutes. My A/C unit is old and I was pretty sure that the news would be that it had finally died and that it would need replacing. Lucky for me, it ended up just being a bad thermostat. Ted told me I could get one cheaper and install it myself to save money, but I asked if he had one he could install. He installed a new thermostat and stayed to make sure it worked. The whole thing (service call and parts) cost me less than the "big guys" were going to charge just to walk in the door 6 hours later. I will likely be proactively replacing my A/C unit in the next year and now I know who I will do it for me. I was more than pleased with the speed and quality of the service I received from Ted Cook Heating Service and I would recommend them to anyone who asks."

"We purchased a new Clayton home in late 2023 and everything seemed good at first. After several times over a year of having HVAC techs from Clayton come out for a cooling issue, eventually the warranty ran out on the AC. Then we had another supposedly reputable HVAC company come out and said it was a lot of issues outside and would cost almost $2000 for a repair that may or may not work. We went thru Angis list and got in touch with Quality Air. The tech came out and went thru our system and located the issue inside that was never installed from the Clayton homes store. Nathan had our system up and running and has been cooling excellent ever since.
