"Immediately responded to schedule appointment and friendly. Technician was helpful with an estimate and quickly replaced the faulty expansion tank. However, the amount of communication by phone and text from the dispatch was on the verge of nagging and the tech cancelled the appointment the morning of. Got rescheduled and it worked out though. "

"Spoke with owner Ross about replacing two water heaters. One was showing wet stains bottom. So I decided to replace both, since they were both about 12 yrs old. I decided to replace my Bradform Whites with a more high tech water heater. I picked Lowe's AO Signature 500, which is their top electric heater. Has leak detection shut off, higher heating element, vacation mode, wifi enabled etc. Labor estimate about $1400 to replace both, and I had the water heaters onsite for install. Can't say enough how Professional his plumbing crew is. Jack and Chris did an outstanding job. They kept me informed throughout the process, and kept my home clean at all times. The install projects came out great and price as agreed. Other plumbing estimates were higher, especially comparing it to those Big Box stores. Will certainly be doing with Ross again in the future. FYI, look for a company that is willing to be open to use other brand name water heaters and not just what they trying to sell you. "

Customers say: Quick response

"I had plugged drains from downspouts to the gutter. I called Thursday morning around 8:00. It so happened that Mario was nearby and he came out to bid the job. He emailed the invoice, answered questions, and I had approved the work w/in hours. He called back and asked if they can get started that afternoon. YES! They came out and got the digging started. When they left for the day, they cleaned up, set cones, and caution tape. All very professional. Friday morning the crew was here when they said they would arrive. There were a few hiccups (never know what you'll find) but after talking it out we rolled with the changes and the crew got the work done. Shout out to Mark and Greyson! Mario came by to do a final detail, was gracious enough to confirm that water was running from each downpipe to the curb and wrapped things up by mid-afternoon on a Friday. Impressive 30-ish hours from initial phone call to completed job. Would hire again. Well done guys!!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Tigard, OR

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
