They changed shoes so my floors stayed clean, and they cleaned up the work areas thoroughly, even though I said I could do it. However, on the rare occasion when a problem cropped up, they came back and fixed it, no questions asked and no bill submitted. These guys are a pleasure to deal with and no, I am not Chris's mother! When materials were on site, work was done quickly. The special order windows had some issues with Lowes but even they took care of it.
I was nervous hiring a contractor for the first time. I usually do repairs myself but this was a little out of my range. I went to Angie's list to find a reputable contractor because I needed to spend this kind of money once and get it done right. I will definitely hire Machen Home Improvements to do repairs in the future as he has been attentive to everything I have asked.
