"We contracted Winthrop Place for a remodeling job that included converting an extra room into an additional bathroom & converting the adjoining room into a bedroom (adding a closet, new doorway and framing the existing doorway) for my elderly mom. Michael and crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional and completed the work in a short time frame, making the house much more accessible for my mom. They took care to preserve and re-use the house's original wood trim/moulding so the new rooms tie in perfectly with the existing spaces. Michael has many years of experience and it shows in both the quality of the work performed and the suggestions he offered along the way. Finding a contractor for a big job can be very stressful, these guys made the whole remodeling process easy & painless. I'm happy to say that this company knocked it out of the park in terms of quality of workmanship, timeliness, and fair pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. After this project I can confidently recommend Winthrop Place if you're looking for a local contractor. I just wish I'd found them sooner!"

"Eddy was amazing! I am so pleased that he responded to do some major upgrades to the interior of the home with a major installation of crown molding. This was intricate work because the walls & ceilings were of differing textures. Eddy made certain that all of the corners, ends, etc… fitted together perfectly. In addition, Eddy also installed an outside faux stone facade on the exterior of my porch. He also paid extra attention to detail to ensure that everything he did was neat, done correctly, clean & organized. Eddy was on time; kept in great communication and stayed right on budget. "I needed the work done quickly on a home I was selling . I found the process they use to secure jobs fairly drawn out You call, they set an appointment time, someone comes out to look at the job, then they email you an estimate, then you have to call back and set up another appointment for the work to be done. when I got the gentleman there the work was done quickly but I found a corner completely missed and had to call the contractor to come back and had trouble gettiing that done quickly.I had to wait a couple of days for that person to have "time" to come back .I had already paid and was no longer living in the home as it was on the market,so I had to arrange my day to be there to let him in, The work was done well the process was very annoying to this customer"

"I am VERY impressed with Salgau Roofing and very strongly recommend them. On Tuesday evening a large branch fell and punched a hole in my roof. I called Salgau Roofing on Wednesday. They had replaced my roof July 2014 and I was very pleased with their work and since the insurance company approved using them I chose them for this repair. Mr. Salgau answered his phone, came out and inspected the roof that day and sent me an estimate the next morning on Thursday. I accepted the estimate and they repaired the roof on Friday. I went up on the roof this morning and I can't tell where the new shingles are. Everything is indistinguishable from the original roof. The repair appears to be perfect and exactly matches the existing roof in color and pattern and appears to be very highly quality and well sealed. The price was lower than I expected at only $720 because a piece of the wood under the shingles had been broken out and a hole about 1 foot diameter and a crack about 2 feet long had been created by the branch. They had to replace some of the wood as well as everything above that. This firm is very responsive, professional, and does outstanding work. I cannot recall another contractor with which I have been more pleased."
