"Buck Swindle and his crew at Rolling Green Contractors did an excellent job on repairing our wood fence and installing a large, new, 2-sided fence gate. Buck communicated with us often and honestly. The crew worked hard and left the work area clean and free of debris at the end of each workday. I highly recommend their services."

"Mr. Rousseau came out and took measurements and gave us an estimate. He seems fairly busy so it was a couple of months before he could begin our project. I contacted the original owner of the house to find the manufacturer of the existing crown molding. Mr. Rousseau came out again before beginning to double check the measurements and to be sure he knew exactly what we expected. He showed us photos of other projects he had completed. We gave him a $1,000 deposit. He completed most of the assembly and painting in his home shop then brought the pieces in and assembled and finished the project in our house in two and a half days. (He had to take into account placement of heating ducts and electrical outlets.) He matched the paint and molding exactly so that the book shelves look as though they were original to the house. He is extremely neat and careful with his work, a very nice man."

"They did everything they promised, were there at 7am each morning and gone by 3:30 each afternoon. They were focused and hardworking the entire time. They finished within the time line that they said and cleaned up after themselves every day. They were extremely sensitive to my needs as I camped out in my home while they were working. I do plan on hiring them again next year when I remodel my kitchen."

"The first project was electrical socket and breaker box work to replace faulty job from a different contractor. Second was to replace and rebuild bathroom floors, shower plumbing, and tile work. Third was to install wood flooring in kitchen, laundry, and front door areas. Lastly was to paint walls in bedrooms and kitchen. Following the painting, was to replace four windows due to rot. His quality of work was very professional, and all jobs are done in a quality manner that I am truly pleased with. I would recommend him highly to all friends and coworkers. <br />"

"Everything went fantastic. We actually love our kitchen and laundry room now. We had gotten to the point we hated the kitchen and tolerated the laundry room. Now both and especially the kitchen look very elegant. Working with Micah was wonderful. He was very professional, offered many suggestions on what was needed or how it should be done. He was honest, listened and understood what we needed, went out of his way to insure that we were happy and was very meticulous about his work. <br /> We have a very large kitchen so needless to say it was a major undertaking especially correcting all the problems left by the original cabinet maker. When Micah finished it looked like we had installed all new high-end cabinets but at almost half the price of putting in new cabinets. <br /> So anyone that has a situation like us where the cabinet boxes themselves are salvageable we highly recommend Residential Facelift.  We had looked at other companies that reface kitchen cabinets but found that their techniques were not appealing and were more expensive. We are definitely pleased with the work Residential Facelift had done and highly recommend them. In fact we are already thinking about them doing the cabinets and trim in our master bathroom (again fixing the disaster from the original cabinet maker)."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Townsend, GA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
