It took them an hour-and-a-half to complete the job. They sent me a picture of the chimney. The price was great. They did show up."

They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. "We have used E&R for years to maintain and repair our cedar shake roof. Cleaning and then applying preservative regularly has added years to the life of the roof.They have always done an excellent job. Last year we were not totally happy with the evenness of the preservative/stain application and they reapplied the material to our great satisfaction.The cost may be a little more than some others in the area but with E&R you do indeed get what you pay for. Ed Maurath couldn't have been nicer to work with.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
