"From start to finish our experience with Romana was outstanding. Mike estimated our full project (demo old garage, new floor and foundation, and new 2-car garage). Our project was unique since we were asking them to build a detached garage that would be insulated, drywalled and heated so some of the questions we asked were not run of the mill (i.e. we wanted a heavier vapor barrier and wire mesh in addition to fiber mesh blended into the mix). We elected to use Romana for the concrete only, and we could not be happier. <br /> Mike was extremely responsive up until and during the actual concrete pouring (I texted him just about every day). His brother Joe and their crew could not have been nicer. They told us when they would show up, they arrived on time, worked diligently, and left our yard very clean after they were gone. We could not believe how quickly they took up the old concrete and poured the new. <br /> We were also on a tight schedule nearing the end of the conrete season due to weather, and we only ended up pushing the form and pour dates back by a few days due to rain earlier in the scheduled week. <br /> Overall Romana's service, quality, cleanliness, responsiveness, and caring were impeccable. Their bid was a bit higher than what we had been quoted by a competitor, but it was worth a few extra dollars for us to have the job done right and this fall. We will be using them for our driveway in the spring. <br />"

"My basement had years of water damage. The cinder block walls were ugly and the orange stained cement floor was a mess. Following a permanent water drainage system I put in place last year, I hired Life Construction & Design to work some magic. And, that they did. They knew exactly what to do in my situation, they coordinated the team of workers, and the quality of the work was superb. It's a remarkable transformation. I also had a sump pump issue post-project completion that caused some water to get under my new floating vinyl floor, and although it wasn't their issue, the team came out and helped me troubleshoot the issue. He corrected the overly narrow stairs on both the main and side deck, fitted the boards correctly against the house (the previous deck had gaps where debris would build up and be hard to remove), and he reconfigured the railing ever so slightly to increase the useable deck space.
