In 2007-2008 I had my kitchen expanded and remodeled by Allan Homes Unlimited.   In on December 15, 2013 the kitchen sink collapsed. (I should write up Allan Homes Unlimited regarding this issue)
I called my favorite plumbers first thing on Monday. They indicated that they would need countertop experts to remount the sink first.  So I used Angie's list and found Granite Works Countertops.
I called their office to describe the issue and schedule a time for the repair.  Unfortunately due to the holiday rush of people wanting their countertop work done prior to Christmas the earliest date they could come was December 23rd.  Due to the holidays my work time was also constrained so they offered to call me at work when leaving their prior work site so I could leave and meet them at my home.  This was a wonderful accommodation as I was able to fulfill my work requirements AND get my sink fixed.
The only negative issue was that this was a two person job and they only sent one person.  He was great, but he could have used another set of arms.   I helped as best I could but my back is not in the best of shape.
This next section includes some issues but I do not see them as against Granite Works Countertops as there was no other way to perform the work.
Due to the sink configuration they were unable to use the preferred technique of bolting the sink to the countertop. Instead he constructed side braces to the cabinetry and held the sink up with a spare piece of wood while the glue dried.  Sadly this results in screw's coming through the sides on the inside of the cabinetry, but there was no other option.  I was advised that the wood holding up the sink while the glue cured, could be removed, but would be better if left in place.
Also, should the sink fail again, I should have plumbers come to remove all the plumbing work so that their is room to install the sink with a better mechanism (undercounter bolts).
The work is complete (and the plumber has since repaired the drain damage) and I am mostly satisfied with the results.  Ideally the job would have been done differently, but that was not an option at the time.
I would be happy to use Granite Works Countertops again..

We’ve used them in our other houses and we’ve always been happy with the quality. Kitchen and Bath Depot includes KitchenMaid as one of their lines and we scheduled a meeting with them. We started our process only telling Kitchen and Bath depot about two bathrooms we wanted to remodel. We figured we would try them out and if things went well, we would continue with them. The designer was great. She listened very well and everything was well documented. The price tag was a little higher than we hoped but we signed and left the building feeling confident with our purchase. From the first day that the team showed up we knew we picked a good company. The project manager communicates well (using any method you prefer). The construction lead and his team were also great. They were there EVERY DAY. I don’t think I can stress enough how great that feels knowing the guys are showing up EARLY and every day. The company does a great job of keeping things clean. Communicating any problem or change. Any “problem” we found included everyone and we always came up with a good solution. Both bathrooms are wonderful. The construction is great but their finishing with the tile and paint is just as fantastic. Things went so well we decided any doubts we had with the cost were worth it. We signed up to have the third bathroom and kitchen remodeled. The process was exactly the same as the first. A couple of new guys for the kitchen and they were great to work with too. Except for one day where our floors needed to cure, they were in our kitchen and/or bathroom EVERY DAY. Would we use Kitchen and Bath Depot again? Yes Would we recommend them to others? Yes"

"Mike's Home Solutions did outstanding work!  He is a perfectionist in his work and you can see it in the results.  Mike is completely trustworthy and a diligent worker.  At the end of each day, Mike and his assistant did a thorough job of cleaning the work area.  Mike started and completed the bathroom renovation before starting on his next project.  He provided me with excellent advice when it came to picking and placement of the bathroom fixtures.
Mike's Home Solutions does A+ work and I am going to have him back to renovate my guest bathroom and kitchen.
