"Bob Swigert arrived to do the bid when scheduled, explained the work and gave us the best price for the job and some good advice on some details. We were able to keep the existing garage door opener - which was remounted as part of the deal. We kept the same look, didn't add windows, didn't go for a high 'R' value or other fancy touches. We got what we wanted - a new, good looking, solid door that will require almost no attention and has a excellent warranty. We also feel safer with a steel clad door. The work was done on the day scheduled in the time promised. Everything was left clean and all the old materials hauled away. We used the Fred C Johnson Co three years ago to fix the garage door opener and they did an excellent job with that so we made sure we got them back to bid on this work. "I called ABC Garage Repairs on the morning of 1/5/2015 to repair a garage door that had a frayed cable. The garage door was also operating with excessive noise and out of alignment.  I have two garage doors and both have not been serviced in about three years and each is used a number of times each day.  
 I spoke someone (cannot recall her name) at their offices who was very nice and scheduled a technician for the same day.  I asked if any of the offers on Angie's List (currently there are three) could be applied to the service and she said they would be flexible so that we could select the best deal once the technician assessed the repair and maintenance needs.
The technician, Sean, arrived within the service window provided by the offices and explained that my two garage doors each needed new rollers and a tune up and one needed a replacement cable.  Sean was polite and prompt and performed the work efficiently.  He also worked with me on using the Angie's List pricing to help with the cost of the service and repair on both doors.
Each door is now working smoothly and quietly.  Very happy with their level of service and pricing.

"We just purchased our first home and while we love the home, we are pretty sure it had the original garage door on it from the late 90s so our top priority was replacing the door and opener both . I got quotes from several companies two weeks ago, but when it came down to it, I had a much better experience with Champions Garage Door repair and felt we would be better taken care of. "Bought a new home and the garage door was shaky at best.  Often it would not close and would reopen half way through closing.  A real pain.  It was new but looked like an amateur install.  I honestly considered replacing it entirely with a new system.   When I saw the angies list deal I could not turn it down.  An I was extremely happy with the service. 
Kelly's Garage Door, I cannot recommend this company enough.  The door works like its top of the line.  The tech spent about an hour working on the system and it is just perfect.  The tech was extremely professional and of the highest quality.  In addition to making the repairs he communicated each thing he did, why he did it and the result I should expect.  This guy is an asset to his company. 
I also purchased an additional automatic door opener device.  It was high quality and much better than the original that came with the door.  The price was great and it was programmed perfectly.  
I will be using this company in the future, but he did such a great job I think it will be awhile before I need to call them. :-)
