"He was very patient. I bought the deal for outside work. He came to my house and showed me all of the projects that he could get done in the 6.5 hours. As I added a job to the list, I kept thinking that it was too much and he told me that I could add more. He got all of my jobs done in the time allotted and they all look beautiful. He even through in some light bulbs and a wax ring that doesn't seem to be on my bill but were replaced. The best part was that he purchased all of the items for me and did it way more efficiently than I ever could have. He was neat, timely and even played with my dogs. I would recommend Tim to anyone needing home repairs of any kind! He truly is a gem!"

"Very happy with the entire process. Communication was great and Eric even brought Reggie to house the day before the job started to introduce him so I knew who to expect in the morning. Reggie and Cole were great. They took special care to respect my home and did incredible work. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product."

"Dan and his crew were excellent to work with.  We had a big project and from the initial contact to get an estimate to the last paint stroke, he was attentive, easy to reach when needed, dealt with a few unexpected crises quickly and efficiently and did a great job.  We had an architect and another contractor specifically for the Endless pool, and Dan worked well with them as a team.  He has a small crew, but everyone was very pleasant, did great work, showed up every day, worked hard and cleaned up, and were easy to interact with.  We were also very impressed with the subcontactors he works with, and would be very pleased to work with them again. <br /> We ran into a few issues: <br /> The day that they removed our roof, we had a sudden rainstorm, which caused water to leak into our house, and while they were trying to shore up the water, our dogs got loose and escaped the house and yard.  Dan immediately contacted us (we were gone for the day),and had people cleaning up the water and covering the roof as well as had people driving around the neighborhood to look for our dogs.  They took care of all the extra drywall and painting for the water damage and the dogs were fine (just dirty and tired) when we found them.  We felt as though he cared not only about the job, but about us and our pets, throughout the remodel. <br /> We also had some difficulties when it came to the pool installation, where some measurements between what we received from the pool company and what we had on our plans ended up differently to what we expected.  Dan and Eric came up with a good plan on how to accommodate the changes and the end result is even better than we thought.  Considering that we basically redid our entire exterior and added an additional 1/4 to our house, we feel like we had a pretty easy renovation, and Dan and his crew were a big part of that.  A special shout-out to Eric Bates, our carpenter, who did a fantastic job!!"

"Five Star (Anthony and Steve) were extremely responsive to our request for the job, handled quote/painting in a timely fashion at a very competitive price. Once the work was done, it was a perfect match to the rest of our garage siding. I would definitely recommend this company, and will look to use for future work."

"Ben, Owen and Ben's subcontractors worked to put a beautiful addition on the back of our home.  Ben is one of the most hard working people I know in this business.  I'm pretty sure that he barely sleeps!   <br /> He was extremely attentive and present during our entire project which started in September and finished in December.  His network of subcontractors and the people he recommends is also very strong.  Working on a project of this magnitude requires a lot of work for both parties.  We had to work closely to make decisions, order items and keep things moving forward.   <br /> Ben is very friendly and takes time to understand the people and how the space will be used.  He thinks with both sides of his brain - a great balance of creative, functional, and buildable.  He has great attention to detail and matched the aesthetic of our existing home structure.  His workmanship is high quality and we feel great about the solid, warm, and quiet room we added on. <br /> Highly recommended! <br />"

"Windows were ordered but took a little longer than estimated to arrive.  Then they were short one window.   Installed the others in two visits and installed the final window when it arrived.  Aside from the fact that there were some minor winter weather related delays,  it was good.  The installer was excellent, friendly as well as efficient.  Courteous to family members and considerate about the potential heat loss from the window being removed.  I was impressed with how extremely accurate the measurements were to fit the windows.   The delay in finishing all the windows because of the order error played to our personal advantage.  We were able to make the pmt from our savings on the balance due.  The house is much warmer and quieter.  Wish we had done this years ago. <br />    The only less than good item was staying in contact with the company/contractor.  I accidentally deleted the contractor's phone number, so I ended up sending 3 emails to their web site before they responded and he called back over a week later.  Then I had to email them again asking when they wanted their final pmt.  It was still 2 weeks before he picked it up.   Not sure why they didn't want it mailed.  We didn't make the final pmt till almost a month after the completion.  It didn't effect me but seemed peculiar. <br />"

"They did a great job!  Steve's team showed up everyday in a timely manner and were very professional.  They took care to cover furniture and flooring, ensuring that nothing was damaged.  We were very happy with the job that was completed.  When having work done in my home, I most times will have a service provider come back to finish, touch up or repair their work.  I never had to call Premier to come back as it was done correctly the first time around.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Vandalia, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
