"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. "Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

"I cannot speak highly enough of David and his team. When I got a moderately high radon reading on the home I was selling, I had to take care of it quickly so that my closing could go through. David worked me into his schedule and came to my home the day I called. He was delightful, did a thorough inspection, and gave me an estimate. I subsequently got an estimate from another vender, and it was $1,000 more! Not only that, but David had figured out a way to perform the remediation without installing unsightly pipes either on the inside or outside of the house. This involved him working in a very shallow attic space to run the pipes up through the heating ducts, but he was happy to go the extra mile. On the day of the work, David and his wonderful assistant Ryan arrived on time, and spent the better part of a day installing the system. They were convivial and professional without being the least bit instrusive  - I enjoyed the experience! After the installation, David explained it to me in detail, and left a radon kit so that my buyers could check the new levels. Not suprisingly, my buyers are more than happy with the results. "I joined Angie's List to find someone that worked on portable air conditioners.  My brother took the unit apart to get to the blower wheel - but he told me that he didn't think that he could get to the damaged part and even if he did, he wasn't sure he could put the unit back together.  My brother can fix anything, so when he gave up,  I knew that I needed a professional. I liked the reports posted for  "On Call Maintenance", so I called (on a  Saturday) & left a brief message about what I needed.   In a very short time, Steve returned my call & he told me he felt confident that he could replace the part & put the unit back together.  I ordered the blower wheel & received it on the following Wednesday.   I called Steve & made an appointment for the next day at 10AM.  Steve had the part replaced and the unit working within an hour.  He was professional, courteous,  punctual, & returned/answered all of my calls.  My unit works great & Steve even installed the hoses & weatherized the windows better than they were before.  I will definitely call on Steve in the future.  In fact, I have a plumbing problem in my kitchen - I think I'll call him now."

Not use this provider in the future: 

We mostly likely needed a more detailed cleaning than we got from Air Duct Pro.  Our recent house remodeling did make our vents and returns especially dirty.  We have used other providers over the years, and I know that many of the others do a better job of cleaning the entire system.  We have allergies and symptoms of allergies that duct cleaning does improve.
