Small jobs welcome

"I can only reiterate the other 180 positive five star reviews prior to mine. It was a pleasure working with Alex and his crew! His work exceeded our expectations. They were so polite, easy to work with, extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were here for about a week and left the worksite clean each day when finished. We hired him to replace two walkways, build a gorgeous firepit, construct two rock walls and install Belgium block around a garden. Alex was a great communicator and offered great ideas for our projects. The photos should speak for themselves."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Everyone at the family-owned Ambiance Stone was just wonderful for us in our recent small kitchen renovation! They were so responsive and helpful. They helped us to source a lesser-known quartz product that we wanted, met us at the warehouse, and went above and beyond the usual standards of service. Clay's installation was meticulous--the seam is almost imperceptible! The team was neat, clean, quiet and considerate while they were in our house. The timeline for templating and installation was quick, and their pricing was reasonable--5 stars all around! Thank you, Ambiance Stone!"

"We are delighted with the results from Rock Designs. Mike Perito widened the existing area of the walkway, laid down crushed rock, then placed the Nicolock pavers in a random pattern and sealed them in place, flush with the lawn. He even added two steps from the walkway down to street level. The new walkway is not only more attractive but is safer than the old one because it is wider and smoother."

"The house is on a hill with many terraced stone walls. Landing like a <br /> spaceship was this hideous concrete mess known as stairs. <br /> Jay was great.  I helped him with demolition (owing to the fact I own a 14 ton loader/back hoe).  I guess I demolished a bit more than he anticipated (oops).  He was gracious and the expected up-charge was unexpectedly reasonable. <br /> . <br /> His stonework is A) beautiful and, B) blends nicely with the existing stonework.  The finished product blends in like it's been there at least 100 years.   <br /> Now a year later & a winter has passed, his work did not budge with frost heaving.  Only now as I write this I recall he did proper base prep for drainage and preventative frost heaving. <br />"

"I called and left a voice message, explaining the issue, and he quickly returned my call. He explained the procedure, his estimate was competitive, and we scheduled the work.  He arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete the job.   I contacted Clark Chimney because the reviews were so good, and I definitely found the right person. He explained everything in advance and answered my questions. I was so pleased with the quality of his work, that I scheduled another project with him. <br /> <br />"

"Work was completed promptly and generally well done. Had a couple issues that prevented this from being a great transaction. First, a bunch on the epoxy used on the yankee gutters dripped onto my deck and grill cover and appears to be pretty stuck. Not a huge deal, but seems easily avoidable. The second, and bigger, issue was that I had a few follow-up questions and Angela replied to my first email saying she'd send the info the next day, a week later I had nothing and after sending follow-up emails/messages weekly for 3 weeks I gave up. This was unfortunate, as it appears that the work done roof/yankee gutters was done quite well and the price was reasonable, but I'm left a bit annoyed with the overall project and unsure if I'd use this company again."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Vernon-rockville, CT

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
