"I found John's name and contact information on the Irondequoit group on Facebook after several people had recommended him for HVAC services. After my furnace ignitor began to malfunction, I called him up and he was able to come over to look at the problem on the same day, and summarized my options to remedy the problem including parts, materials, labor costs, etc. As my boiler system is over 30 years old at this point, I opted to go with a brand new one. Knowing that my boiler may be nearing the end of its lifespan (and in the middle of winter) John scheduled himself for the work within a week's time. He was in my home all day and installed my new boiler along with the accompanying new piping, parts and fittings, including expansion tank, shut off valves, flu vents, etc. He was very professional, thorough, courteous, and cleaned up my basement and left it the way I found it. I would highly, highly recommend him to others."

The job went great.  He was punctual, responsive and gave me several options on how to best repair the project within my budget.  The guys were respectful, quick and focused on the job.  The repair is beautiful and has been an eyesore for years.  Had I known it would have been so painless to get this fixed, I'd have done it years ago.

Went under the house found the pipe shook it and said here is the problem. Hr removed a section of the pipe and found the stoppage removed it , repaired pipe and sink workes like new. "They did an excellent job.  The exterior work was performed a couple of weeks ago, when the weather was nicer, and it was done in a couple of days. (I should note that they have not finished it, to wait until spring to tidy it up and do finishing work on it.)  We have had rain since that work was done, and the family room was dry.  No musty or dampness to the room at all anymore.
The interior work went really well too. He estimated about 3 days, it took 4.  The floor is a bit springy, due to extra insulation and padding being put down underneath it, which is very nice for a floor on a slab. It came out looking excellent.
Dave and his workers were very respectful of us and our home, and enjoyed talking with our 5 year old son who was super interested in watching them.  When it was possible (and safe) they let him watch, and chatted with him.  The guys really couldn't have been nicer.  One day, I was headed to a garage to get my car's starter motor replaced, and one of the guys helped me get it started. He insisted to help me (by going down on the ground and hitting my starter motor with a hammer, which did get it working) even though I tried to get him to not.  
They also put the laminate on a few steps leading down to the family room.  I was unsure about how they were going to do this, and at first was unsure about their suggested solution, but in the end, I really like the look of what they did.
It's been a few days since they finished, I did have to go over some bits here and there, along with the laminate floor to pick up any settled construction dust, which I expected to do.  We've moved furniture back into the room, and it's easily the nicest room in the house now."
