"The house is 45 years old and copper piping was used for the drains. It had total disintegrated and needed to be replaced. Meeks was the only plumbing company to agree to take the job. They were able to relocate the entire drain system from under the slab to the outside of the foundation without having to break through the floor inside of the house. <br /> The man that ran the job was excellent. He was a very hard worker, new what he was doing and stayed late several days. He was pleasant to deal with and made sure everything was returned to excellent shape. <br /> I highly recommend them for a job of this magnitude.  <br />"

"Doug Hambel's Plumbing sent an excellent team to re-pipe my condo. They were first class technicians and performed professionally. They explained what & how the job would be executed, They answered my questions to my satisfaction when deciding the details of the best solution. They were friendly and well mannered. They even befriended out 15 lb Attack Poodle. All three of the technicians definitely knew what they were doing, crawling around in the rafters and working in tight quarters, and not one curse word!"

"Eddie was very good at communication and coordination with others who were integral for our job.  The job we were doing had a lot of moving parts from 3 different companies, and Eddie was able to make it all work together. <br>The work was performed on time and on estimated budget."

"We signed a contract in December for which we gave the company 6.6k, we didn't hear from till mid March our calls went unanswered. When the job was started the underground propane tank was delivered the next day the propane was delivered and 90 minutes later the office called and wanted us to put the delivery on our credit card, however we still have no generator on site. We were assured when we signed the contract any damage to our irrigation system or lawn would be repaired. They had the electrician try and fix it, meanwhile our water bill went from 75.00 to 165.00. Our lawn is still a mess we were told"it will grow back" which I feel is not acceptable. It took 4 months to complete the job which I again feel is unacceptable. The electrical work was done well, however the customer service was horrific. The young men who worked the job were very nice and professional, but the management is less than desirable and only want your money."

"They responded quickly to my phone call. Arrived on time and did a very thorough job (1.5 hours) diagnosing the problem. Was unable to conduct the repair at my location. Since he could not fix the problem at my location he did not charge for the service call. I will definitely contact them again for RV service."

"After 4 quotes and 5 failed appointments from other plumbers, I had almost given up on having natural gas for my BBQ. One "turkey" even backed over my mailbox after pricing the job and then never showed up or called after I scheduled him three times. I found Mr. Rooter of the Treasure Coast in YP on Monday, and he came on time on Tuesday to price the job. I agreed to his terms and he said he would go for the materials and return in half an hour, which he did. John is an ultra-professional serviceman with tremendous skills. As far as I am concerned, he is a homeowner's dream come true. Not only did he finish the job in record time, he gave me a $40 coupon promotion which reduced the agreed-upon price. If you live on the Treasure Coast and need a plumber, you MUST call Mr. Rooter Treasure Coast... (Not to be confused with other franchise plumbers of the same name in the area.) I moved into a new home in June, and have had a lot of work done by many different trades. I wish all of them were half as pleasant, professional and capable as John Bensley. It is my pleasure to write this review."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Wabasso, FL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
