When our garage door was damaged, they came 1 day after the call to survey and recommend a fix. When they couldn't make their scheduled date to install the new door due to another job, they called to notify us they'd be coming the following business day. On the day of installation, they came and 2 hours later were done. The door has worked great since then with no issues. We received the bill by email and paid online. Very easy and dependable."

This is the way all companies should work. Academy gave me a price which which was $150 lower than their nearest competitor for the same insulated steel door. Academy agreed to install the door within 2 to 3 weeks and were there when they said they would be. They called ahead of time, which I appreciated. Their installer, a man named Luis, has been installing garage doors for over 15 years. He is amazing to watch, moves like poetry in motion, knows exactly what should be done when, and is very precise in his work. He came alone, took the old door down and installed the new door in a couple of hours. Everything was clean and neat when he finished. The door runs smoothly and makes very little noise, compared to the old door, and I am very pleased. "This company responded quickly to my request. Upon arrival, they let me know I had a broken spring, and thats why my door wouldn't open. Their price was fair to replace both springs so we moved forward with the work, which was completed the next day. They told me my opener is 15 years old but still runs well, so I had them price replacing it. The cost was very reasonable, so I will have them out next month to take care of that! "The technician showed up on time and proceeded to explain the process for installing the garage door opener.  The initial installation of the garage door went well.  However, upon the completion of the installation the technician proceeded to demonstrate the operation of the door when a malfunction of the garage opener occurred resulting in damage to my new garage door.  The technician immediately notified his supervisor who quickly acknowledged responsibility for this mishap.  I was informed as to the reliability of this particular garage door opener and this unfortunate incident had never occurred in the past. "Garage door spring failed on 02/10/2015.  Called Andrews the same day and they came out the next morning as scheduled.  Replaced the springs and performed the maintenance on the second door.  I was considering replacing the spring on the second door but they said it was not necessary.  The repairman noted that the top panel of the door was cracked.  The crack started several years ago but when the spring broke, it became worse.  We agreed to have the panel replaced and they would have to go to Baltimore to get the replacement panel.   The cost of the panel was $600.00 which included materials and labor to install.  They said they would install it the next day which surprised me because they said they had to go to Baltimore to get the part and it was a Friday.  Well to our surprise, they came around 9PM and installed the panel and finished about 1030pm.  Everything is working fine.
