"The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The end product was excellent. The office was professional (mostly). The price seemed fair, but I would venture a guess that I could find cheaper, but I wanted a quality installation. I can confirm I found competition that was much more expensive. The only issue I had was scheduling both the quote and the work. In this case we needed both an electrician and plumbers complicating the situation. We scheduled both disciplines to quote on the same day. The electrician missed the window and had to come the next day. For the work to be performed, we again scheduled for a single day process but due to illness apparently had to reschedule for the following day. At that point, I complained to the office due to the inconvenience of taking 4 days out of the office for a 2 day job, looking for a little price reduction. The office manager I spoke to was more interested in defending their position than seeing my side. In the end he granted me a $50 online coupon, reduction yes, but I'm not sure why I wouldn't have been entitled to that regardless. Honestly, in the end I was happy and would hire again due to the quality of work, reasonable price and professionalism in general. They would have received high marks across the board if it wasn't for the scheduling issues. I hope that was just bad coincidence."

"This is the 2nd or 3rd time that we used Jimmy and couldn't have been more pleased. My house felt like a sauna and we were desperate for Jimmy to come over. He was extremely busy however he found time to stop by. We were told that we needed a new unit and by 3:30 the following day, we had a new unit installed. Can't get better service than that!!!"

"Excellent service. We have had both Kevin and John out to service one of our units. Both have been extremely professional, helpful and fair. Kat in the office is a great help, too. I had forgotten to respond to her message before the office closed (something came up in the family) and she called me back to offer to help. Most people on a Friday night are rushing to get out and won't take the extra time to follow-up like that. She also helped a friend of mine (not an Angie's List subscriber or she would leave a review) arrange emergency service and she and John spent 15 minutes on the phone with her answering her questions. Very impressed by this considering she was not a client (yet) at the time. THAT is how you run a business. A lot of companies out there could learn from them.

They looked over the main water shutoff valve that I wanted to replace and then explained what they were going to do and how much it would cost. Completed the work promptly and cleaned up the work site before leaving. I would highly recommend DB's Plumbing and Drain!!"
