"This gentleman realized the reason my water heater was spewing water, after only six years, was because there was no regulator on the water coming into the house and it was coming in at 150psi! He replaced the water heater and when I smelled gas afterwards he double checked all the pipes, including the gas pipes, and fixed the gas leaks, on an old pipe for the gas, immediately. "I had an outside faucet that started leaking. I was very tempted to try to fix it myself or even have one of my neighbors attempt it. After all, ;replacing washers should be easy! Right?
