"My project manager, Chris Grose, was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with and always responded to my inquiries and questions. His carpenters did an excellent job and the finishing work of the wainscoting matches existing exactly. I was also very happy with his drywall contractor. The drywall contractor made sure the employee he sent to do the work could match our existing textured drywall on the ceiling portion of the job. It matches perfectly! This was a relatively small job but I never felt like it was less important than any other projects Chris was managing. I'm very happy with Chris and Northrup and will hire them again. I recommend you hire them too!"

"Fantastic--Alex is prompt and does excellent work. I had all of the very old window screens in my home replaced, including one screen that needed to be made from scratch due to a bent frame. A few years ago, Alex made a new frame for a screened patio door with great results, so I asked him to redo the screens on the windows this year. Alex arrived promptly, removed the window screens, replaced the screens, made a new frame and screen for one window, and then put the window screens back in. He worked efficiently, is friendly, and his price was more than reasonable. The project schedule --considering the difficult wet landscape season, still ran smooth as fresh concrete. The parking structure around the property was in desperate need of restructuring. We had various drainage issues, and a completely deteriorated and troublesome parking lot, which was posing a threat to the foundation of the 100-year-old building. <br /> The general manager met with me on several occasions and I noticed him additional times on the property surveying logistics. I'll just say that he's the type of person that ensures quality, workmanship, and service. I feel confident that I would not have found a better company for the project because of the overall value I knew we received, (see the pictures). "<p>Overall the project went very well and was completed on time.  The project used some new materials and John's team had the experience and knowledge to integrate and produce a custom look for our house.  John was instrumental in suggesting and helping use make decisions to produce the look we envisioned.  I was very happy how they cleaned up after every work day much more than I expected for a project in process.  The team was very courteous and answered all my questions immediately or soon there after.  I also liked the daily in person or scheduled calls with John or Matt to catch up on the progress and next steps.  There were no surprises! "Overall things went well. The price was good and Barack was easy to contact and to communicate with. We had a deck that hadn't been treated in years and so required extensive cleaning before sealing. Barak and his team put in a lot of hours (four days) to make things look nice. <br /> It wasn't until after Barak was done that we realized our deck probably needed more than just a cleaning and resealing to make it look truly good again. Next time I think we will pay more to have the deck sanded before it is sealed. Also, if your pergola is next to any windows, you may want to consider paying extra to have someone paint the sealer on the pergola rather than spray it on. There was a lot of overspray on the windows (despite extraordinary effort from the crew to contain it), and getting sealer off of windows is very difficult. (Try "Simply Green" concentrated spray to soften the spots and then SCRUB). <br /> To conclude, Barak and his team did what they said they would do, at a very reasonable price. It isn't his fault that we didn't realize we wanted more, until after the job was done. <br />"
