Small jobs welcome

"Matthew was flexible and on time and completed work as estimated with no issues. I was wanting an addition rather than a repair. I appreciated his willingness to answer questions and provide estimate without trip fee when I decided to go ahead with work based on his answers regarding replacing electronic range with gas range (he installed gas line and 110 power for a gas range)"

"This is our second experience with this company over the past 6 years, both of which have been good. We discovered a sewer backup in our basement and called Mr. Rooter on a Sunday afternoon. Adam C. was at our house a couple of hours later, and we decided to clean the main line with a high-pressure water jet. However, Adam was able to determine with his camera that the problem was not as bad as originally thought, so the water jet was not necessary after all. Adam quickly cleared the line and was able to give us an overview of the pipe structure beneath our nearly 100 year-old house. He was very professional and was ultimately able to repair our problem for about $200 less than what we originally thought it would cost. Hopefully, we will not have to call a plumber for that kind of problem again for a very long time, but if we do, we will definitely be calling Mr. Rooter."

"I was super impressed with Accurate Plumbing. We noticed our hot water heater was leaking from the bottom. I left a message through their website, because it was Sunday and figured no one would be around. Within 30 minutes someone called me back! He was very honest with me and told me that considering the age and where the leak was it was more than likely going to need to be replaced. When the plumbers arrived right on time. I neglected to mention I needed a drip pan due to the basement being finished after the current water heater was found. They went to the nearest hardware store and bought one, so they could still complete the job without complaint. The initial cold water shut off valve was a PVC ball valve that was frozen. Without me even asking they installed a metal lever shut off valve, so I could turn off the cold water input when needed. I would highly recommend this company."

"When I originally called he was very polite on the phone. He told me that he could not schedule me right away due to his busy schedule. My toilet leak was small and his professional manner convinced me to go ahead and schedule an appt. which occurred a few weeks later. It was worth the wait. I had scheduled  two other handymen previously who were unable or unwilling to fix my problem. I decided to hire a "Plumber" which I should have in the first place. All in all, there was little muss and fuss and I am happy with the excellent service provided. I will call Larry again if I have a plumbing need to address. I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"My 32 year old furnace developed a crack in the heat exchange and my gas warranty company dispatched All Knight Heating to handle the issue.  They determined that no replacement part was available for my furnace.  The warranty company approved a replacement furnace, which All Knight handled.  They were very prompt, friendly, professional and quick on the install.  The cleanup was thorough, with no mess left behind.  The office staff were very courteous when I called prior to the install.  I wouldn't hesitate to contact them for any future heating or cooling needs, a great company! <br />"

"Troy, the plumber that came out was great.  He was very clear and informative on the issue and what he was going to do to make sure the problem does not re occur.  He thoroughly snaked all the pipes under the slab (older home, no basement), along with pipe leading to main sewer,  although only the kitchen sink was backing up.  He also decided to check the bathroom, along with removing the access panel to check for any unforeseen leaks.   Troy was very nice and arrived much earlier than the scheduled time which was great.   I just have the feeling he takes pride in his work and does not rush to get the job the done. <br />"

"I can only say good things about this company. The work was excellent, the tech was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. When every you have natural gas work done it can be scary, but I have complete confidence that the job was done right. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing done. They are my go-to from now on. Sorry I could not provide a photo of the work, but I ask them to hide the line as best as possible and they did. So there is no picture to take."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Washington Court House, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
