He did a fine job He replaced a few feet of plastic water lines with copper pipe and secured it to a piece of wood to hold it tight I had noticed when the washer filled with water the plastic water tubing would jump around. This secured it ! He put in a new faucet. It looks very nice. He got it all done in a timely manner. He was very pleasant and explained what needed to be done and we agreed. "Shaun and Steve from Boevaag Plumbing called/texted to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule. This worked out great and they were able to start about an hour before the estimated starting time. On an outside spigot that was leaking Shaun showed me how one nut just needed tightening. Leak gone. I had a valve that ran to the kitchen refrigerator. I assume this valve was likely added by the previous homeowner, as it was unfortunately placed after the shutoff valve for one of the outside spigots (so when I shut it off for the winter, no water to the fridge). I had them move the refrigerator valve (they put in a new one) before the outside shutoff valve. A shutoff valve for another outside spigot wouldn't fully shut off. They replaced both of the shutoff valves with much better handle valves (rather than the knob valves that were there). The pipes to the water softener needed to be tweaked to line up with the new softener. They did that, hooked up the new softener, ran it though all of its cycles and showed me how to use it. Shaun also gave me advice on maintaining the unit. The main waste pipe had a joint that had failed, Steve and Shaun replaced the necessary pieces and everything looks nice and sealed once again. The guys took a little under three hours to get my long list of items accomplished. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt the price charged was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Boevaag Plumbing and will most certainly use them again."

"Called and made an appointment. The plumber, Lee, showed up as scheduled. We discovered that the shut-off valve for the water to our condo unit was in another owner's unit. That owner was not home, so we had to reschedule the appointment.
I rescheduled the appointment and was told the plumber would arrive at 8:00 a.m., the first appointment for the day. On the day, the plumber did not show up at 8:00. I ended up calling to see why the plumber had not arrived. I was told that another plumber was out that day, which had thrown the schedule off. (I realize these things happen. I do wish they had called to tell me there would be a delay as the water had been shut off for three units and was keeping another unit owner--in whose unit the main shut off valve was--from going to work.)
When Lee arrived, he apologized for the delay. He replaced the shut-off valve and installed the new fill valve, which stopped the toilet from running. He also lowered the fill water level to save water. Lee cleaned up any mess made by the work and was clear at explaining what had been done and about how to use the shut-off valve in a way that could help it last longer (e.g. not turning it too far or too tightly when turning it off.) Lee explained that I was being charged for the 15 minutes from the first call (when we could not shut off the main water line to our unit) plus labor and parts for this work. (There was an apprentice with Lee both times who was very friendly and professional.)
A few hours after Lee left, the toilet began running again. I could not get it to stop, so I called and got an appointment for a time when I could be home a few days later. For this third visit, Jeff was the plumber. He replaced an O-seal on the flush valve with an extra I had on hand. He also removed some debris from the toilet tank that he thought might be interfering with the seal. He also adjusted the water fill level, which added more pressure to the flush valve, which stopped the toilet from running. He did not charge us for this call, since he was adjusting work done earlier.
Though it was a bit convoluted, we still appreciate the work done. We appreciated the idea of using less water with each flush, and appreciated the "learning" that the water needs to be a certain level to keep the flush valve from running.
