"I came home from work to find all my drains were not draining. I tried some basic troubleshooting, but could not figure out the issue. I called heritage ( which was after hours). Within an hour, the technician Derek arrived, I gave all the information to him, and he started immediately. We narrowed it down to an issue with the septic. 10pm we are outside digging up the septic to get a look. Dereks knowledge and experience quickly identified the issue. "The repairman came out, took one look at the pipe, and knew exactly what was wrong. He replaced that section of pipe in less than 30 minutes. He stayed long enough to turn the water back on and check the flow to several faucets. He also gave me a rough estimate of the cost of fixing two other plumbing issues, one of which will require an excavator. In an hour, I had water again, plus a better idea of what to fix next. My only complaint is a common one. When you need a plumber, it's hard to find one, because there are a lot of other old houses that also need emergency help. The first place I called said they could come on Sunday, but due to a rash of emergencies they didn't. I called Rodenhiser on Sunday night, and they said they could come out Monday afternoon. At 4pm, they said they needed to postpone for another day, but they eventually agreed to come after dinner. They did, promptly, and they did a great job."
