"A+ in every area. The owner called me within about 30 minutes. We talked for 10 minutes or so and I answered his questions about the size, location, frequency, etc of the cracks. He told me there was no need to come out that this was standard and there were no structural issues, but that I should do whatever I could to get the heavy rain water away from the foundation. We discussed some remedial actions that I was considering and he supported them. He would not charge me for his service, saying that it was minimal impact on him. "I contacted Mark's Lawn and Landscape in late March 2018 about installing a paver foundation ( 12 by 16) for a shed. I made an appointment for early morning and Mark was right on time traveling from Halethorpe to Laurel. Note that the four other firms I called said that for such a small job there was no need for a site inspection prior to the work starting. Mark quickly gave me an estimate and a time frame for when he could complete the work. For the rest of the day my thought was that maybe I could find a contractor who might do the work for somewhat less money. About three days later Mark's proposal came and the cost to do the work was exactly what he quoted and I knew then that I would give him the job. When Mark and his crew came to do the work he recommended a different location for the foundation than mine and I was pleased after taking his recommendation. Mark's crew did an excellent job installing a perfectly level foundation in a day's time and grading the area around the foundation. I asked Mark to inspect the job after completion and he said he would certainly do this. Yes, this was a small job but I was so pleased with Mark's attentiveness to my needs and requests."
