He assessed the situation first, then came back to complete the repair and walked me through everything step by step so I actually understood what was happening and why. With a house this old, that kind of communication really matters. Since we had just moved in, he also helped service a few other things around the house so we could get ahead of potential issues. "The plumber Joey was a delight. He arrived exactly on time. Pleasant houseguest, cleaned beyond the call of duty, fun conversationalist, and the work (bathroom faucet replacement) was done well, in about an hour. I also appreciated Bob on the phone scheduling the appointment. He called within a minute of my submitting a request for quotes online. Only one other company responded, and rather than give me an answer (like, when, and $how much) there was this rigmarole about getting an estimate out to me tomorrow, and charging extra for any quarter hour past the first hour, and... Very unfriendly. In contrast, Bob at TMS was perfectly friendly and quoted me what I needed to know right then and there."

AJ & Neal were awesome.   They were professional, considerate of the surroundings, and always willing to stop and pause their work if I had any questions.   We really haven't had any significant rainfall, but after watching them perform the install of the downspout tie-ins and perforated pipe...I have no doubt my issues of water seepage should be gone.

"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.
