"We have been pleased with how prompt Matt responds to our requests. He always prioritizes our "lists" of jobs and gives an estimate when requested. He is efficient and quite fair in his price. He will shop around to get a good deal when using other services or purchasing parts. He has worked as a general contractor for us for large jobs as well as smaller jobs that he personally handles. Overall, we have been very pleased. <br />"

"We live on a hill, with a set of steps to navigate the front yard, that end in a landing at the bottom. They were destroyed in an accident. Steve and his crew at SS Creative were the contractor I selected to repair the work. They did an excellent job matching the new construction to the old construction. Although I didn't expect it, they finished the job on Christmas Eve! I intend to call them for future projects. Excellent craftsmanship!"

"Without a hitch. The owner Hooshang gave us an initial estimate from a photo then came and gave us a detailed quote. Agreed on a start date and job time. Both done as planned. He and his helper are professional, neat and courteous. Price was in line with other quotes. The workmanship is excellent. You will need to have any drywall repair and staining done by another contractor as Hooshang is the stairmaster."

"In the past few years I have used Seeterlin Construction to remodel a 60 year old kitchen, replace a water damaged ceiling, and install crown molding. He is the most ethical and honest person I know. As far as I am concerned he is the best contractor around. He does use subcontractors at times, but he only uses the best. It is easy to get in touch with him. He is prompt to return calls and immediately handles any issue- no matter how minor. As far as I am concerned Seeterlin Construction is the best contractor in the area. <br />"

"This was the best experience ever. Ray and his Team were quite professional and puntual. <br /> And as well they really know what they are doing. <br /> <br /> Once the material was delivered Ray and his team were on top of all of our needs. He made certain to please my wife by matching the siding and roofing to our home perfectly. When asked, at the last minute mind you, if we could add windows, Ray never flinched. <br /> <br /> This contractor will be brought back to our home to remove/replace our rear deck, add on to the roof and close itin a screened porch for us. <br /> <br /> If you are looking for a reference I am your point of contact. I will personally stand behind them all the way. <br /> <br /> Good people. Good workers. Great knowledge. <br /> <br /> C. Randell Adams"

"Great! Ricky was very helpful. Very courteous and very open to our needs. His crews were professional. They did their work meticulously and cleaned up after themselves. They were on time and showed concern for our convenience and need. I was very satisfied and pleased with the work they did and the quality of the materials and workmanship."

"It went very well. The initial site visit on 7/6 was great. The contractor listened to everything I said, asked great questions and gathered accurate measurements. After reviewing three bids I gave the go ahead to Jand D Services on 7/9. They finished the work in just a few days and I wrote the check on 7/13. From beginning to end I experienced courteous, professional and prompt service. They cleaned up completely. Price was very fair for the amount of work that had to be done. <br /> Thank you Jand D Services. If I need help in the future I know who I will call first. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in West Point, VA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
