He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"Sorry, looks like this review got stuck in draft mode for quite a while. But the good thing about that is everyone gets to read a review with an update 1.5 years later on the quality of the work completed! In late 2020 I had recently moved into my new home and the gas water heater wasn't working properly. It was leaky and at least needed the pressure relief valve replaced, but the tank was well past it's expected lifetime. The techs were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The valve replacement wasn't going to work because repairing the tank could damage it further, so the tank was replaced instead. The price was very reasonable and installation was done really well. They did a great job with cleanup too! One and a half years later and the tank has had zero issues! I would definitely recommend them for heavy jobs like this or more simple ones around the house. Thank you very much!"

"The project went along just as scheduled and we are very pleased with the outcome the deck is beautiful and has truly enhanced our home we are out there all the time! The service was on time and all the staff was so polite and very respectful of our privacy. They even put in the deck where there were no nails or screws protruding from the top they put the nails and screws in the side of the decking it looks beautiful and it was an excellent price. "I bought a Choice Home Warranty for my aging mother as I don't live in the same town as she does and can't help her in the way I'd like to, especially with repairs to her appliances and systems. Having a full home warranty with Choice, it has given me the peace of mind knowing that I can get someone in to help her that isn't taking advantage of her age and situation and overcharging her. We've had to have 2 repairs this first year; her gas stovetop and her washing machine. The stovetop took several visits to get the problem fixed but that was for parts, but we only had to pay the service fee and it works just fine now. We were very pleased with the repair serviceperson and how he treated my mother. The washing machine had a problem, we called, someone showed up and checked out the machine and said it was a really, really old washing machine and said it would be more expensive to repair that replace. Choice paid $350 for the washing machine replacement value and that doesn't really buy a replacement as Maytag washing machines run about $600 for the bottom model, but it still was something to help towards the cost of replacing and overall, I'm very happy with the Choice Home Warranty product."

"Fast, efficient and honest service"

"The project began in May with demolition of the Master Bathroom lasting about five days. The crew did take care to clean-up after each day?s work so that the rest of the household was not affected.  Construction came in spurts with a one man
operation each time and it required contacting Missy and/or Dave to make sure when someone would show up. Also there were a number of items that had to be redone due to poor planning and incorrect measurements.
Examples:

•  - Installation of the medicine cabinets had to be realigned twice because the placement of the vent pipes was not accurately

measured,
  - Installation of a new toilet and sink in the small bathroom had to be redone because no one measured the location to see if the
two items would fit in the space,
   - One edge of the shower wall had to be modified after construction because the design did not accommodate the glass door that was specified in the contract.
 As a result of these problems of poor planning and management of resources, the project was not completed
until the end of November (six months !).  The initial completion time was estimated to take 3 months.
 The final cost of the project did not change as a result of these delays. But Northeast Bath Builders did try to renegotiate contract in order to receive an additional payment prior to the completion of the work. We did not agree and held them to the contract
of final payment at completion of the work.  
As to the workmanship of the project, the craftsmanship of the cabinetry was excellent as well as the work of the subcontractors for
electrical and plumbing.  Over all comments about the project are similar to those of another customer?s review, ?this is an
outfit you have to watch.  (They are) very difficult to reach.?   So our recommendation about Northeast Bath
Builders to other customers who are considering a total remodeling of a bathroom would be to have:
     - A project completion date specified in the contract with penalties for missing time points
     - A drawn blueprint or design plan with measurements of what the final project will look like.

"Tony does excelllent and at a reasonable price. In addition, her is very personable, keeps his appointments and IS HONEST. My repair need at the time was for a Whirlpool gas-powered dryer. The solution he came up with was amazingly good for could have been a costly (parts) repair.
